“We have introduced support for Japanese and Traditional Chinese VO”
Hello @T10ManteoMax, no any TC user asked for it, and game voice language is forced to bind with system language, we want english VO back, at least let us set voice and system language separately.

Pretty sure someone asked for it on a car suggestion hub and I strongly believe PG reached out to MG to license it. Chinese or no, it is a nice car. But yeah, it was mismatched since it really doesn’t have to do with FORDzathon. I mean if it was planned in advance this probably would not have happened. It still is a British car, regardless of where it was made.
I liked your post, but only because that car is cute.

If anything they have way too many Fords to be honest. Though I do miss the Country Squire and the 57 T-Bird. Never once driven the Pinto at all since it was DLC in FM4.

The Renaults, I at least are grateful they’re back. But I hope one day they at least license them again in the future.

Oh, you poor innocent lamb.

The Cupra is a good, balanced, enjoyable car. I’m actually looking forward to those MGs.

What was that for?? All developers have to reach out to manufacturers to have their cars licensed (keyword: reach out and acquire licenses). That’s how it is and that will not change, regardless of country origin, which in this case it is partially from Britain.

Licensing is complex. Think about it, because that’s how it is since the last 10 years.

For all you who preach “licensing”. Please read the credits for the game. The licensing “division” for lack of a better term, is listed within the T10 section of the credits. Most likely made up of a team of Microsoft corporate attorneys assigned to T10 who are specialists in corporate licensing law. It’s doubtful they have any direct connections with PGG at all other than communications about with which cars PGG wishes to get installed (or is allowed to use) in the Horizon games. It’s more probable that T10 wants those cars in Motorsport and FH5 is a test bed to see how well they are received.

For this bunch, maybe. One can only wonder how many games need to come out with cars from Brands X, Y, and Z before it dawns on Playground Games that maybe the licensing department needs to try a little harder.

I mean, surely if you’re going to have an entire series dedicated to one particular manufacturer, it would behoove you to make a concerted effort to bring in new models that no other game has. Gee, I wonder what they could have included…

I sure wonder…

Hmm…

You have to admit, that last one should have been a gimme, especially considering that the drift car’s already in-game.

Completely agree on all fronts. Even I’m losing patience with them and their decisions……and I fully understand 3D design, modelling, physics, engineering and even some licensing (as I work in an industry that involves all those aspects).

I may not be a gaming industry expert like some others, but even I can tell when poor decisions are being made (based on whatever the reason or situation is).

This Fordzathon could have even brought back my beloved Shelby 1000, which would have made sense. Granted I actually like the design of the modern MG’s and appreciate the race car additions, it just seems they’re throwing darts at a random theme board (with cars and bug fixes).

These developers/designers are way to smart and talented to come up with a lot of this non-sensical content. It just screams silliness which is why I think the higher ups (which have no clue nor care about what anybody wants) are responsible. It’s just a gigantic toy box filled with temporary play-things in which the novelty wears off quickly for them. That’s the sense I get anyways.

It’s frustrating as “games as a service” models continue to bore people to death….but it falls on their deaf ears.

I like more cars….always will but these content decisions are just plain silly.

“Fordzathon” with an MG and a trio of recycled Renaults as seasonal prizes? That’s it, I’m out.

I really enjoy the series 15 update for the cars and events they added

Upside, we’re getting Fords during Toyotathon! (US marketing campaign)
I got a large update labeled Expansion 2 last week. I was given a new console, was migrating to it, and amidst the files, there was that. Wasn’t really paying attention, but looked later.

I’m happy that event lab is still getting attention. I love seeing what players come up with with their event ideas.
But once again there’s no mention of arcade improvements. it’s such a poorly implemented game mode.
Just yesterday I played some forzathon live from H4 and it was absolutely packed with players. I hope horizon arcade will be that populated one day, but they’ve been ignoring it for over a year now, I’m losing hope.

This will never happen.

Well, no actual bug fixes to speak of, but at least we got ‘snowperson head’ cosmetics

I don’t like the Lamborghini Roadster, I prefer the Lamborghini Sian

The MG 6 is indeed featured in the car voting section. However, a whopping five people voted for it.
