Turn 10, Playground, Microsoft, you had a year to fix this crap, why is it still happening?
Dell G5 5587
Windows 10 Home 18362.418
i7 8750H
16GB of RAM
GTX 1060 MaxQ Nvidia 436.30 drivers (newer did not work either)
Event viewer doesn’t contain ANYTHING regarding Horizon 4. Reinstalling OS did not help. Reinstalling the game 3 times did not help, different user profile (local/MS account) did not help.
No programs like OBS or Afterburner are installed/running. Other Store apps launch fine.
Gets stuck on the splash screen for like 10 seconds and then just quits.

Well after 22days without response to my ticket for the same issue I don’t think PGG are that interested in responding.
However if you go to Task Manager > Services and then Open Services. In the new window you can manually activate the WindowsPushtoinstall service and the game should launch normally.
Something people shouldn’t have to do.
Irrelevant.
The game still runs even with the service disabled.
First, not PGG but Turn10
Second, from what i’ve heard, there are literally three people working on the tickets, give them a break, especially when people like Fastlanegaming misuse the Ticket system for their own purposes.
