Had a question for you guys,not sure if anyone may know,but my post on Microsofts forum hasn’t gotten any responses in days.
Anyway,my problem is this,i pre-ordered Horizon 3 through Microsofts site on disk,through Paypal.
The money came out of my account,then a few days ago it was back in for some reason with no payment history to Microsft.
So i thought it was weird so i decided to pre-order it digitally on my Xbox One.
Afterwards it says that i own the game,but the money is still in my Paypal account.
My question really is,are they going to charge me twice now when the game actually releases,or what is going to happen for this?
I think you’d better ask the Xbox Support directly than trough a forum.
ofc I don’t know if the mods or devs are aware of this problem and know how to fix it.
this would be a problem for Microsofts billing department.
I’m afraid T10/playground are not going to be able to help you with this.
Try getting in to a chat with Microsoft’s support, i’ve had good experience trying to sort out a problem like this before with them.
You really shouldn’t have ordered the second one until you knew what was going on with the first one.
But the others have the right idea. I would highly recommend you contact MS/Xbox directly and actually speak to someone. It may not be something that can be dealt with through the forums and that’s assuming you even get an answer.
Make sure you have all you info to hand and explain it all to them in detail. If you have paid (or will eventually) then they will be able to tell you and hopefully fix it.

well digitally they changed it recently, they don’t take the money out straight away, I think 10 days before?
you might of got charged for the disk version because it’s a different set of rules. I don’t know haven’t bought a disk version in a while. But I do know they don’t take the money out digitally yet.
maybe they don’t charge for the disk version either and someone made a mistake, corrected it? Does seem weird

They recently changed the billing for pre-orders, as requested from the community.
But to be on the safe side, you should contact MS support.

You can purchase games available for pre-order using credit on your Microsoft account, a credit card, or both. You’ll be charged at different times depending on how you pay:
Microsoft account credit. If you pay for your pre-order completely with credit from your Microsoft account, the credit will be subtracted right away.
Credit card. Pre-orders made using just a credit card won’t be charged until right before the game is released.
A combination of account credit and a credit card. If you don’t have enough credit to cover the whole cost of the pre-order, you can combine payments. Your account credit and credit card won’t be charged until right before the game is released.
Once a pre-order is placed, you’ll receive an email notification that includes the details of your order and the date when your credit card will be billed.
