After watching some Forza Horizon 6 preview footage, I got the impression that the audio in the hood camera view sounds too muffled.
Of course, it is hard to judge the final sound from preview videos, and things may still change before release. But I still wanted to bring this up as audio feedback.
In the hood camera view, I would like to hear more of the engine itself: more high-frequency detail, more mechanical sound, and more of that feeling that the engine is actually in front of the player. From the footage I have seen, the sound in this camera view feels too muted, which makes the hood camera feel less alive.
In Forza Horizon 5, I think there was a clear difference between the exhaust sound and the engine sound under the hood. That made the car audio feel more natural and easier to understand, because you could better hear what was coming from the engine and what was coming from the exhaust.
It would be great if Forza Horizon 6 could keep or improve that difference, so the engine sound in the hood camera view feels clearer, more detailed, and less muffled.
