So, if you have both Forza 6 and Horizon 3 i suggest you try playing both quickly after eachother. For some reason cars in Forza 6 sound wayyyy better than in Horizon 3?
Sounds are deeper & just more refined overall? The difference is huge, it kinda spoils the fun of Horizon 3 for me. Is the 30fps vs 60fps in Forza 6 the reason that causes this maybe?
It’s kinda diffucult to explain but for example the Honda NSX or Audi R8 V10 Plus… Overall it is obvious they copied the sound files for both games because the tone itself is the same, but in Forza 6, (to my ears) The cars sound more clear and more refined. Me and my brother played all Forza games till date and it was the first thing we noticed. Try driving the same car with nothing but engine sound on both games after eachother and u’ll see. F6 sounds just sounds deeper, more realistic even tho the base sound file is the same. I find it hard to explain, i think it is indeed a matter of engineering where both games get different sound tuning? I noticed this for all Horizon games by the way compared to FM…
My God yes that was aweful in FM6. Non-Forza players even laughed with it that Forza still has that 90s tire screeching noise.
In FH3 that sure sounds a lot better.
FM6 does sound more refined . But they have drastically improved some vehicles in FH3 like the A 45 amg sounds identical to real life and raspier in comparison to the fm6 where it sounds more generic
They have taken a step back with the RBs and the JZs they sound great in FM6 don’t know why they would change it . And for some reason when you purchase some cars they sound great and after a while they sound really bad ? Ferrari 458 and fpv 315 is a example.
