Headlights off in “evening”, “sunset”, and other low contrast TOD presets

So I just started the Mustang tour with me 2024 Mustang GT. First up: Sunset Peninsula, evening. All the cars have their DRLs on but no headlights?

It’s difficult to see the road in such low contrast settings (particularly cockpit) and yes,my TV is tweaked properly, yes the game’s internal HDR setting is tweaked properly. Please don’t change the HDR curve, just have the headlights come on and light up the track and environment.

T10, please get rid of such nuisances from the game. Either have headlights turn on automatically in all presets between late afternoon and night (including sunrise) or give us a manual toggle.

Has been going on long enough. Please address it, very annoying and s potentially game breaking during such time of day conditions. Thanks!

That’s a bit infuriating. How can this be called even mildly realistic? Fully bright headlights with searing halos and no beams on the road during evenings and sunsets?!

The game turns the lights off way too early.

Unrealistic and forces you to drive with the line assist or you can’t see apexes

It’s really silly how they haven’t ironed out these issues 1+ year after launch. I’ve moved away from FM for now, couldn’t deal with these silly little issues anymore. Never happier!
