Headlights are a mess in this game

They’re always on during day races and always off during night races. Every multiplayer race I do at night I’m driving blind around the track while everyone else’s lights seem to be working fine. It used to be just on COTA but now it’s every track and some of them do not have lamp posts and are pitch black without headlights.

Seriously, there are three D-pad inputs that aren’t being utilized. Is it that hard to allow us to toggle headlights? This needs to be fixed immediately.

I agree completely… The headlights in FM7 are absolutely horrible. Also the overall lighting in this version of FM is also horrible. Early morning and late afternoon races leave the track to dark and without Gamma adjustments… It’s almost unplayable. WTH was T10 thinking by doing this.

I need to know what person/designer(s) thought this was a good idea…!

It is perfect on a TV that supports HDR.
But I agree. Before I got the One X, the lighting was terrible.

There are many complaints about it and they do nothing.

Rear light low
Head light low
Car analog tachometer, example F360, F430, F430. lights off and the dashboard lights.
In game also …

Headlights are a mess in multiplayer, perhaps. I have yet to encounter any major problems with them while playing this game, however.

The Forza GP Renault in a night race at Le Mans is good practice

Seems to be pot luck and random as to which of my cars decides to turn on it’s lights at night.
I think the servers seem weaker in this version which could be why it seems so random. I had a message other night in game saying low bandwidth but my internet is always ok (37 down, 8 up, 17 ping).
I have the original Xbox one which I think is struggling to cope in the hardware department also.

Waiting for a star wars racing suit so I can us the force instead of my eyes😫

Horizon 3 nailed it, what’s the problem, T10?

Some tracks need braking line on or else you just wall-ride the tunnels…

VIR at night, that’s all that needs to be said…

I have had this problem and never played multiplayer online. I could be mistaken but I think it might have something to do with changing cars after a track has loaded. It does seem to happen arbitrarily but usually it can be fixed by going to the main menu and reloading the car. Agree that it should have been fixed by now.
