Has anyone grown tired of the game?

I find myself playing H2 more lately, while I appreciate the graphical, technological and content update of H3 I just find H2 to have a much for fun open air about it.

Honestly if this game has a route creator, it would have unlimited playability. I feel like so many roads aren’t even used in the races that are premade. With a custom route creator all the under utilized roads would finally have a chance to shine, plus new leaderboards.

When the game was first advertised didn’t they say that we would have access to the same tools the dev team does to make custom races through the blueprint thing? What happened to that?

You do make custom races through the blueprint thing but as what often happens with speculation threads things tend to get exaggerated what might possibly be able to be done

Would be good if you could actually make your own races using whatever roads and setting your own checkpoints

It would be cool if they added an option to do that. The problem would be in what capacity could this be done. There wouldnt be a “racing line” for the ai to follow so we couldn’t race them and I doubt theyd give us servers to upload these races to so friends could drive them for rivals or even in online free roam.

I know that, I am saying that during the advertising of the game it was said the blueprint feature would allow people to access the exact same tools the devs have to make races. “With Blueprint, you can take any of the hundreds of pre-created events in Forza Horizon 3 and customize them to your exact specifications. That can include things like changing the route for a particular event, the time of day and weather conditions, the eligible cars, event restrictions, and more. You can even give an event its own name, which is important because you’ll be able to share your event and see the events that all your friends have created automatically populated in your world. Those events will even have custom posters automatically generated based on the event type.” to me changing the route for a particular event means changing the placement of checkpoints(source: Forza.net: The official home of Forza ) but obviously the wording is carefully ambiguous as it actually meant the route of a championship series.

No it means when you have a championship made up of predetermined routes you can remove one route and add another route, from the list of predetermined routes.

I can see how you can take it the other way but I can see how it fits what we ended up getting.

Honestly, yes I have grown tired of the game. The DLC cars is great but at this point there is very little to do with them other than drive around, or do rivals as all the races and pr stunts are repetitive which gets boring, going online doesn’t help as the tracks and PR stunts are the exact same ones as in singleplayer. After a certain point the game world just feels like a vast, empty sandbox which the DLC cars do nothing to remedy(nor does adding extra bits of map). I wish there would be new tracks and PR stunts released as part of the DLCs even if it is barely a handful of tracks/stunts just something else to do at this stage.

It’s a racing game… You should probably do some racing (online championships).

I raced hundreds (if not thousands) of championships in Horizon 2, I would have grown tired of it after only a couple months too if I just drove around or did stupid drag races in online free-roam.

The changing competition of other skilled drivers is what holds my interest…

Online championships would be interesting if they didn’t always end up being in the S class cars, trying to find championships for A and below only is really difficult from my experience.

I agree that people want to choose S2, too frequently. In my experience I have a much higher chance of getting a lower class in Horizon 3 than I did in Horizon 2 though because of the championship settings, most people don’t want to play S2 off-road so that removes it from the vote. In reality you just need to get a couple friends and race as a club, that was the only way we could ever get a championship to move to the lower classes in Horizon 2, all the new comers just want to get in their 270mph Bugattis that can’t handle at all.

The problem is that there’s not that much variety even though the map is big. For example very few little of beach area, the same forest, the desert is mostly flat and the small dune area is for offroad vehicles. It needs more long streets for the faster cars. City area feels samey, etc. It has variations sure, but all of them are very small. The game feels big only if you are more into trucks and rally cars.

yep. just Forzathons, and the last couple of those haven’t been really worth it. The Championships are not worth it until PG makes them worth something, there’s really no point.

Ok, I know this is gonna sound stupid, but what is the Forzathon Challenge? Is that the car meet at the air port? If not, is that car meet only for drag racing? I wish there were other car meets that had route racing, like FH2 has. Because I just recently found out that there is only 1 car meet on the entire map, which is very upsetting for me. That’s what I loved so much about H2, were the different car meets. Once I unlocked them, it’s the only part of the game where I spent racing with other friends. This might floor some of you too, but out of all the Forza games there are, the only one I’ve never played is FH1. Motorsport 6 is where it’s still at for me. I still keep going back to it to improve my lap times with Rivals. Even though I just started playing FH3 a few days ago, I’ll continue playing it, even though I’m a bit frustrated. The only thing I’m interested in is collecting all the HE cars. After all, I paid for it. Might as well get my money’s worth!

All those people on here saying they’re tired of the game yet they are still on this forum reading posts and posting about fh3. This seems mutually exclusive to me. How can someone whose tired of a game still be talking about it on a message board.

I totally agree with your post Blackdog35. It seems like the majority of the people that have posted about how tired they are of this game have played the day and night for the past few months to get 100% completion and 500 hours spent on doing so. With that much amount of time spent on a game, of course you’re going to get tired of playing it. That is with any game. I remember spending 4 months straight playing Skyrim and I was tired with it too but I didn’t go onto the forums and continue to read the posts and talk about it.

As for my progress with this game, I just bought it last month and have completed about 15% of the game so I am definitely not tired of it and am enjoying it very much.

It’s amazing how some of these people post about completing the game 100% and then complain about have nothing else to do in the game, LOL.

Y’know, it’s almost as if these people are reading and posting to find out about new content, and posting ideas that would bring them back to the game, along with what caused them to stop playing in the first place.

Spot on…

Plus it’s the only place we can remind the “Devs” that they still have work to do… although I suspect that they won’t bother fixing the issues that some of us are having…

LOL, almost as if it’s just a casual discussion! Just talk!

I probably spend more time on here than playing the game these days.

When I was not tired of the game I spent more time in the game than here.
