I say this because a few days ago, Grid Autosport is now backwards compatible on Xbox One along with Grid 2 years earlier yet Forza, a first-party Xbox series still can’t. Why? Both series are racing simulators (kind of), both have licensed cars, tracks, and advertising, yet the Grid series has been given the green light to be backwards compatible but Forza can’t. Yeah that makes logical sense, don’t you think?
Perhaps Codemasters have a different license agreement. Perhaps things are changing and we will get the old Forza games. It will just be announced one day if it happens. All we can do is hope that it does. I suppose the 360 Forza’s moved up the unlikely ladder a smidgen but still very unlikely to happen. Xbox said it was difficult but not impossible with the license agreements.
