So i was buying new cars to fill my garage and wow some of these cars sound great, specially at 7am with the surround sound full blast haha. Anymore good sounds?

Id say 70% percent of the cars in forza 6 sound good so take your pick. FF s2000, aventador, c63 amg coupe, z28, 2015 zo6, porsche macan, carerra gt, lykan hypersport, 918 spyder, all of the wtcc and stcc cars, audi r8, ford rs3100. Etc. Those are just a few off the top of my head.

It sounds better then the f type R yes, but the still didnt exactly nail the sound. The exhaust needs even more pops and crackles as well as more deep bass.
A race exhaust and race cams creates more bangs.
Fiat 8V Supersonic is kinda nice as well.

I quite like the Peugeot 905C. Same goes for the Huracan, R8…basically all the V10s.
I also quite like me some boxer-4 rumble, and I quite like the Hondas.
To be honest, there’s not many cars I don’t like the sound of.
Oh yeah, many car sounds in the have been done brilliantly.
The Lambos and Ferraris sound fantastic - minus the LaFerrari, F40 and 1980s GTO.
So do the Mclarens - minus the P1.
The race cars sound pretty good too. The modern American muscle cars have been recreated well.
It’s difficult to compile a list due to the car count but you’ll find most of them have been done rather nicely.

I have a Chevrolet Corvette in the game (the first iteration of said car) upgraded to the maximum possible rating with it’s original 6 cylinder engine and (centrifugal) supercharger. For a 6 cylinder engine, the car sounds sublime. You’d be pleasantly surprised.

Jaguar xjr with race twin turbos sounds great. Oh and the 69 Datsun z with a race turbo is pretty mean sounding too.

Honestly, some of these cars have great sound, but most of them sound the same, most cars just share the same sound that every other car has, but I do agree that some of the engines sound great, like, for example, the jaguar project 7

I doubt if they’ll limit the car count to introduce the distinct audio character in every car, like so many people have been asking for.
Forza is starting to become a generic car collecting game rather than an authentic on-track experience.
They have the budget, but maybe not the time to reproduce 100% accurate and unique sounds for each car. And again, I do not think they are willing to cut down the car count, as it brings home the money.
So much has been lost in translation since Forza 2 - many cars do not even exhibit a change in their engine/exhaust notes after full upgrades. In the real world, cars sound very different and much louder, angrier and aggressive after heavy modifications. Then there’s the fact, that you still have those water-pipe thin tail pipes sticking out of a 1970s muscle car, for example, boosted to over 800 horses…
I don’t understand why they ditch these features that made the previous games so great…
Talk about waking the neighbors. I run my Xbox through a Sony 7.2 receiver, but my speaker set up is 5.1 out of deference for my neighbors, and the game really comes alive with the sound channeled. I hardly ever use a headset except late at nights when I want to do some late night racing and disturb no one.
