Series 36 launched in Forza Horizon 5 this week and it brought 6 cars that could be featured in Forza Motorsport as well:
- 1993 Autozam AZ-1
- 2021 Lamborghini Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae
- 2022 Mazda MX-5 Miata RF
- 1997 Nissan Stagea RS Four V
- 1991 Toyota Sera
- 1976 Volkswagen SP-2
I’ve added them to the list.
All these cars are interesting and desirable but, to be honest, I’m not sure if any of them should be considered as a “must-have” for Forza Motorsport. The Aventador Ultimate is obviously the closest to that term but we already have three variants of Aventador in the game and I think there are many more important (and more unique) models that should be brought from Forza Horizon 5 and Forza Motorsport 7 first.
There are also two off-roaders in FH5’s Series 36 that I placed on the “discarded pile”: 1997 Mitsubishi Montero Evolution and 1973 Volkswagen Thing.

To me the Autozam AZ-1 feels like a must-have. It looks like it will be great fun to drive in lower classes.

Yes, I’m certain it’d be great for E-class racing and I’d like to have it too
However, T10 usually chooses cars that can be banded together with others to form a division or create a thematic event so I’m afraid Autozam doesn’t fit there at the moment. But perhaps the situation will change when PG adds more kei cars to Forza Horizon?

You don’t think it can be a normal addition to the Early Sport Compacts division?
In theory yes, it should fit there, but I’m afraid Autozam is not competitive against any other car in that division (in stock form).
It would be closer to competition than the (absolutly amazing) Ginetta G40 which is placed in Forza Touring Cars. That’s an E class car competing against top of A to low S. (But this is another problem)
The Autozam fits the description off the division. It’s early, it’s sporty and it’s very compact.
This division does have quite some PI spread as it is (37 cars in this class!), the AZ-1 joining it below the rest shouldn’t cause much problems. Yes it is off pace, but the 1990 MX-5 will not keep up with the 2002 BMW Z3 M in stock form either.

That’s true, Autozam is not very far from the 1990 Mazda MX-5 in terms of stock performance… so let’s hope T10 adds this car to the game one day. I definitely prefer it over fourth variant of Lamborghini Aventador

Last week we had double update for both Forza Horizon 5 and Forza Motorsport so we should have plenty of changes in this thread… but actually there are only 3 new cars added to the main list, 1 car removed (brought back from FM7), and 1 thrown on the “discarded pile” (2021 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat).
Here are new cars added to Forza Horizon 5 that would be warmly welcomed in Forza Motorsport as well:
- 2023 Ford Fiesta ST
- 2022 Ford Focus ST
- 2023 Toyota Camry TRD
And the 2011 Ferrari F458 Italia GTC is the only recycled car for August. Another puzzling and unfortunate choice, I’d say. It’s the first car in Forza GT division older than 2014, undermining the theory that T10 is trying to refresh the offering in the GT3 class. It’s also coming at time when players are rather waiting for the new Ferrari 296 GT3 and have forgotten the 458 long time ago (especially with two race models of Ferrari 488 available in the game). I wonder if anyone really wanted to have this car back

With Hidden Horizons update, Forza Horizon 5 added three more cars that we could use in Forza Motorsport as well (although I wouldn’t call them must-haves - maybe with exception of Subaru, but not before many other essential new cars from FH5 are added):
- 2022 Subaru WRX
- 1991 Toyota Chaser GT Twin Turbo
- 2013 Volvo C30 Polestar
Meanwhile, Forza Motorsport received one car from FH5 in Update 12: the 2023 McLaren Artura. A good choice but we need more

A small update after the announcement of Series 39 in Forza Horizon 5. This time there are only two new cars to add to the list… and I think we’ll be fine without them in Forza Motorsport
- 1990 Aston Martin Lagonda
- 1997 Toyota Soarer 2.5 GT-T
I hope I’ll be able to remove more cars from the list in a week or two, when Update 13 for Forza Motorsport is announced (unless T10 prepared some desirable #NewToForza cars, of course)

My hopes were fulfilled. The massive Update 13 brought 9 cars that can be removed from the list (alongside 3 #NewToForza models):
- 1995 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra R
- 2013 Ford Shelby GT500
- 2024 Ford Mustang GT
- 2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse
- 2006 Formula Drift #43 Dodge Viper SRT10
- 2015 Formula Drift #13 Ford Mustang
- 1997 Formula Drift #777 Nissan 240SX
- 2020 Formula Drift #151 Toyota GR Supra
- 1967 Shelby GT 500
What a great update! Well done, T10!
PS. I decided to move the 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5 N from the “discarded pile” to the main list. I believe it’s much more of a track toy than an SUV, and if it’s coming to Assetto Corsa Evo, then there is definitely place for it in Forza Motorsport as well

Another duo of updates is upon us.
On the Forza Horizon 5 front, we have four hot Porsche 911s in Series 40 and three of them should find their way to Forza Motorsport sooner than later (the Rallye variant landed on the “discarded pile”). I’ve added them to the list:
- 2023 Porsche 911 GT3 RS
- 2023 Porsche 911 GT3 R
- 2023 Porsche 911 Turbo S
I was hoping these cars will be added to Forza Motorsport simultaneously with FH5, but T10 managed to find a very reasonable excuse to save them for later. NASCAR definitely comes first
With Update 14 I’ve removed from the list two cars:
- 2019 Hennessey Camaro Exorcist (coming from FH5)
- 2010 Mazda B09/86 (returning from FM7)
We also don’t need 2016-2017 NASCAR cars anymore so I’ve marked them with italics on the list.
