Seriously, for all you well-yeah gifting the Porsche Taycan, please for everyone’s peace of mind, just press the A button while in your garage, scroll to the bottom, and select “remove from garage”. Everyone has at least one. Even new players just starting out will get one soon enough.
As for me, I will continue to check on cars I get gifted. And every time I get another Porsche Taycan I go to the xbox app and I block the sender. I figure, if you’re going to be gifting pointless cars you’re probably going to be a corner rammer as well. And perhaps blocking these people on xbox will help when playing online.

I always throw on the ‘Duracell Battery’ livery, put on a stupid tune with huge rims that look hideous, then…and only then do I gift my daily Taycan…

I just stopped accepting gifts and only send gift of legendary and FE edtions I get in a wheelspin. Otherwise, just saving all my duplicates for the Xmas gifting prize they like to do every year. At least when that time of year arrives, I will accept all gifts and just regift them. Usually after I put a sticker on them asking everyone else to just do the same.

I hear ya Ron. I’ve gotten ten. I like the gifting feature but it should be limited/locked to 1 of any car per week. That way people are forced to delete them.
You could send any other car but only 1 of that car per game week.

If it had a send back/refused feature it would be better. It starts out theoh how great the gift is, let’s send a thank you, while you’re staring at a plywood box. The. You get to see the junk you just got. Even if it gave a preview of the gift so you could pass would be better than getting stuck with junk. But then look how much junk PGG sticks us with in the playlist without any options to accept or trade or just sell. And then we have to either gift it or remove them from our garage.

I own every car in the game so I started ignoring gift notifications entirely. They’re just a waste of time at this point.

Last gift I sent was a Pista tuned for the dirt pr stunts this series. Got a thank you for it and can only hope it was beneficial. Usually gift 90 RX7s but another recently is a few m600 Nobles.
The actual solution is for PGG to determine desirability of the car probably based on the auction house to prioritize which gifts that are created actually get delivered. Without some intelligence value added it’s garbage in garbage out.
It’s up to PGG to make it a positive interaction

I will add that I regularly will gift cars that I’ve tuned and made ready for someone to use in current week events, such as the trial.
Not sure if the recipient is ever in need of this, but I legit try to send a useful used car weekly too.

It’s a nice gesture and it’s possibly helpful. Unfortunately, there’s also a high probability the recipient won’t bother to even look at it.

I would agree, it’s a nice gesture but you are correct if they don’t even bother. Alternatively, you could throw it in the AH for 24hrs at the lowest bid points, which would allow someone who is actually in need & looking for the car in question to purchase it directly at decent price.

That “new players” button doesn’t matter. It should but it doesn’t. I’m far from new and always get gifts with messages saying “Welcome” or something like that. Obviously sent with good intentions but the system doesn’t work that way unfortunately.

It would really help if we could simply sell duplicate playlist rewards to the Autoshow like we can with Wheelspin rewards. I know I should just delete the worthless dupes, but I find myself gifting them most of the time.

Every car i gift goes out with a Tune/build and livery. I refuse to gift certain cars, like the Taycan
