Gear grinding has left the building! (At least on pc)

I have just fired up the game thought I’d try cockpit, shifter 1st to 2nd on my g920 and POOF the noise has disappeared!! Been shifting gears like a mental person for ten minutes and no noise at all, not even when the clutch isn’t depressed. I’m soooooo happy right now.
Not tried it on my Xbox yet!

Scrap that I was in the Titan HE edition no noise tried a couple others it’s still there!
It definitely did it in this truck the other day so don’t know what’s changed

They seem to have made it so the clutch does something now. I could change gears even without using the clutch. I tried with clutch enabled again yesterday and it would not change gears with no clutch pressed.
