I don’t wanna mention how many hours I have tried this challange today trying to get a car that is fast enough for this during an Eliminator. I somehow managed to do it after I got 2nd placed with a Hoonigan Cosworth, but i am pretty sure I wasn’t fast enough for an Ultimate speed skill.
I saw a topic here in the forum from Bonzpop who managed to do it by driving fast enough while signing in for an Eliminator. I tried that too but it doesn’t seem to work for me as I tried it myself two times.
So all in all I have no idea what I did to actually complete this challange. Therefor I think the descripting is somehow wrong or I was very lucky and made because of some bug or something else.
However I have no idea why some challanges like this or more likely PR-Stunts in the last months are getting more and more difficult or am I the only one who thinks that?
Because I think most players wouldn’t be able to accomplish something like that. Especialy for that mentioned challange, I mean how many cars in the Eliminator are even fast enough to get an Ultimate Speed skill. And that might scare lots of people off the game.
It didn’t scare me off. I just didn’t even try it. I got my 20 points without having to do one single forzthon event. 20 points down and don’t look back.
I did try a couple of times to get it done ‘legally’, but you do need some luck in finding a fast car soon or just eliminate enough. Did not manage to get the USS. The trick to get it during the “Starting soon” screen, which seems to be the Eliminator session already did work for me.
Set up a Mosler somewhere near the start of the highway, started driving, joined the Eliminator session, accelerated and after finishing the session it had popped.
Join the session while driving down the highway at over 200 mph and it triggered for me. Otherwise nearly impossible, very few car drops capable of 200 mph.
Nice. I did six or seven sessions and only one of them led to a car fast enough. Sadly seconds before the start of the final showdown in an area that gave no opportunity to go fast enough. I’m not that good at the Eliminator so that might have been the issue :-).
Yeah it took me 3 hours of playing The Eliminator to get the mission done. Finally did it in a level 10 Centrino going down the highway in the final showdown. Ironically I got close to 200mph in the level 2 Audi RS but was just short.
Although I had already applied the trick, today in my second session I obtained a level 7 Mercedes after a minute in the session, took that one to a flat straight, well the Highway, and the USS was there soon after.
Didn’t even go that far: literally bought the Super out of the AH within the first 5 minutes of looking & that was that. Haven’t bothered with the weekly chore list for months, purchased all the “new” cars from the AH & also never looked back. I’m sure the last daily I completed was simply a result of hooning around in one of the cars, completely outside of the playlist.
At a guess it would be a toss up between the AMG GT,RS7 and RS200 as to which i have won more in.Wouldn’t be surprised if its the AMG GT. Still not managed to get a win in the RS6 (but countless 2nd places)
Edit: Mixed my cars up,meant AMG GT rather than Nissan GTR.Nissan GTR is great too,but i rarely seem to get it
