Game won't load

I have a problem and I was wondering if anyone might know of a way to assist me. Earlier today I was playing some multiplayer racing, and my game froze up after a race. This has happened many times before and all I have to do is quit out of the game and restart it and it works again. This time, however, I am getting a load failed error message and the game doesn’t load at all. For a better illustration, I am having the exact same problem as the person in this youtube video here: Load Failed Glitch

I read some of the comments of the video and tried changing my language and location, but that didn’t work. I have also tried numerous hard resets to no avail. I’ve heard of people having to make new accounts/gamertags to get around some errors due to Forza 6, but wasn’t sure if this error qualified as something like that or not? Please let me know if there is a way around this error. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

We need to find out what causes the problem. It could be the game data, your savegame, your XB1 itself.

Two things:

  1. Try to start the game with a different account on your XB1 …
(One of your friends or you create another one)

  2. Try to launch the game (with your savegame from the cloud) on a different XB1 …
(XB1 of a friend or neighbor)

Thank you for the response Noobertson.

I performed the first option. I am able to play the game as it normally should run under a different gamertag.

As far as the second option, I won’t be able to do that until tomorrow at the earliest. My main concern, however, is that it ends up corrupting the XB1 of my brother as well. Would this be an issue?

Is there anyway we can move on without having to do option 2?

Ok. Your game data and your console are OK.

Either your account or the savegame is the problem.

You can try this:

GOOD LUCK !

I tried the first several things on that link to no avail. I was about to attempt step 6 which is clearing the local save and re-syncing with the cloud, but before I did that I was just curious if this was a valid step for someone with a digital copy of the game? Once I delete the save, I don’t have a disc to put back in, so I was just curious if this is something I can do?

No no no …

You only delete your local game SAVE. The game itself will stay.

Maybe your local save file is corrupted.

Step 6 will help to re-download your file from the cloud.

If the game doesn’t start after that, both your local and cloud files are useless and you need to start from scratch.

Thank you for taking the time to help me Noobertson, but unfortunately none of the steps resolved the issue so it looks like I’m going to have to start from scratch. Is there anyway I can start from scratch with my current gamertag that doesn’t involve rebuying the game? I’d hate to have to make a second gamertag just to play Forza 6.

Honestly having to rebuy and rebuild all my cars will be annoying (I just turned level 400), but it’s not the end of the world. I just really would hate to have to play the game on a different gamertag.

You don’t need to buy it again.

Just go to the manage game section and delete your save LOCAL and from the CLOUD. Description above ^^

After that you start the game from the very beginning.

But before you delete your your save, maybe you want to try it with a different XB1 as mentioned before.

When you get the same error there, only delete will help.

When i get problem’s i contact Xbox support, tried them? Well anyway they tell me to go to setting’s and to remove my account, then you add it again with the same gamertag and then turn off your console with the button on the console and not on you’re controller, after you have done that turn off the power pack and leave it off for 5 mins, then plug it in and turn the Xbox back on and then what you do is cross your finger’s…lol…any way that’s only one option,i really would contact Xbox support if i were you.
