Game uninstalled itself two times since the 8.1 Hofix

Bug Info: Game is not installed, has to re-install completely

Content Update: Since the 8.1 Hotfix

Since the 8.1 Hotfix, today is the second time I have to reinstall the Game completely - I go to the Microsoft store App and it shows I bought the game, but I have to re-Download it. At first I thought it was another Update - was wondering why it was that big… Today I realised that’s just the full game all over again.

That download should take 1 hour on my tested internet speed - it is 3 hours now and I’m only at 65 of the 112GB… It goes pretty well for a while, then it almost stops until I start the Store App again, most of the time that helps. But I’m not sitting there the whole time monitoring the download…

Just for interest where to you download it to, which ssd and folder.

After the first time it download after uninstalling were you able to run the game or did it just start the whole process of downloading as soon as it finished the last?

Was installing it to the SSD Windows is on. The standard Folder, “C:/xbox games” or somthing like that.

I could play after the first re-install. A day later it was gone again. Taskbar item also vanished each time.

So installed as the most correct way as to not have issues but you have major issues, there’s another poster here that has the exact same problem with the game.

I just cannot see how it could uninstalled itself without a command from someone unless there’s an issue with the xbox app or something malicious is going down

If not download and play then exit and leave your PC running overnight with the add remove programs open on FM but just leave it like that then see if it’s there the next day. There’s really not much out there that sounds like your issue
