I just purchased the game but I cannot make it launched. It loads to the splash screen and when it prompts for " press enter to start" I hit it and nothing happens. Every time I hit enter the loading indicator makes a circle and nothing happens at all… I have no issues with my computer what so ever, having all my drivers up to date. I already tried reinstalling the game, resetting the app, nothing has worked, still the same issue. It`s kinda disappointing that a 60 EUR AAA title is unable to launch after purchasing to be fair. What is happening to this game? Please help!

Just guessing, try to open the microsoft store and go to downloads and updates and try if for whatever reason the latest update hasn’t been installed. If this aint the problem try to download a random free app, you don’t have to install it. Now try to run the game. If the game is starting a service needed by the game needs to be activated. If that shall be the case report back and i will explain to you how to fix that. If none of this is helping try to contact the support forzafb@microsoft.com

Actually I found the reason ever since. I suspected its had something to do with the xbox account preventing me to sign in. I was right. So the most likely reason if your game loads up to splash screen then youre stuck when pressing enter is that the game cannot sign you into your xbox account. You can check this by starting the xbox app in windows and try to sign-in. If youre unable, that your problem is, simple as that. To fix this I recommend removing the xbox and microsoft add via powershell (just google it, youll find plenty of video/step by step tutorials), then add them again the same way via the powershell command. Ever since I`ve done it the game can log me in and I have no problems at all. I hope it helped!
That did not work, still getting “sign-in needed”, but only in Forza Horizon 3 and 4. FH5 works without issues. What the actual duck?
