Hi All,
Just installed the game today, with no pause to installation. Game will load inital splash screen but will not progress any further than that.
I have tried multiple reboots and signing in and out of my microsoft account and the issue is still persisiting.
Would anyone be able to help or at least provide some clarification on what or why this is happening?
Windows is x64 and version: 1703 (Build: 15063.674)
Nvidia Driver: 387.92
CPU: I7-7700K
RAM: 2x8Gb 3200Mhz
GPU: GTX 1080
The only help I can provide is make sure your windows/GPU/Game are up to date.
Make sure they might not be anything running in the background that might interfere such as MSI afterburner, but mainly just letting you know you’re not alone in this boat

I can only give you this link so you can try to see if anything might solve your problem.
Everytime i see the same pattern with people having this problem, in event viewer they get “this app can’t launch / timeout / access denied / contract activation failed / dcom component bla bla etc”
This is some kind of Windows10 corruption in the whole UWP/WinRT/AppX platform, since FM7 is also UWP + it uses Xbox-App Components, it’s very sensitive to corruption unfortunately. Even the Windows Store is AppX and has tons of problems regarding download-stability and such.
Thanks for the help, issue still persisting after simple fixes done. Don’t want to do any of the risky ones or download the whole thing again. I’ll just wait for Mircrosoft support and or an patch.
