Following the Hotfix update to resolve the Season 44 events not completing the game now crashes for PC Store Users
Version number post update is 681.440

after todays update, FH5 is now virtually unplayable. It’s crashed at least 5 times on me. It’s crashing on car changes, after each task, or not even booting up fully.

I have the same problem, the game was updated, now if I’m lucky I can get to the optimization screen, but then it crashes
Same issues.
Updated to the latest nvidia drivers just to check, same problem. Had no issues 3 days ago, this was definately caused by the update.
Same for me, but i managed to get it to start up fully after a few tries. Lasted only for a single race before crashing again though.

Same, how about pull this update and revert to previous state so at least people can play the game until you have a proper fix done… I rather have a game that I can play even if the festival list is borked than have a complete broken mess I can even play at all.

Same. 3 crashes so far. I’ve restarted my PC after applying the hotfixe but the game just won’t keep running. If it doesn’t crash after exiting the playlist, it will just crash when I go to freeroam.

Hey. New people. Don’t just say you’re having the same issue. Hit the “Vote” button also. There are currently more people “saying” they have the problem than there are votes.

Logged in and voted just to say I’ve been having the same issues. Game was fine the other day. PC updated. Restarted. Farthest I got was Festival Playlist screen. Reminds me of the Launch Day crash for PC. So nostalgic.
I voted. This is pretty bad actually. Now that FH5 is on the horizon for the PS5 people, this game has almost taken a nosedive recently. 
I cannot imagine what it is POTENTIALLY going to be like when an influx of new players come onboard.
Great update. Now it’s just crashing. If you are not able to play, no points will be rewarded. This aprt was “fixed” definitely.

So I’ve now written to support, my goodness, they want to know a lot but that’s fine with me, the quicker they fix the problem, the quicker I can make the playlist, I just have a vague feeling that the next playlist will probably have the same problem (the one we can vote for)

Microsoft as it is. Any update needs another update and etc. Nothing changed since windows 3.1. And that’s the main reason why I’m migrating to new version of Windows only after 2 years since first release. Normally they need this time to get this thing to work as it used to be.

What I am wondering is that they are testing the updates, it can’t be that everything is perfect on their PC and it is not like that with us

FH5 will not launch after the hotfix (PC/MS Store/Win11). It was working fine before. Now, I get past the intro screen, but once I click Continue (after Welcome profile name displays) the game tries to load for 10-20 secs and then crashes to desktop. Ticket opened.

Same here, in PC, the game crhashes just when I try to go out to drive.
After the hotfix has anyone else been crashing either as soon as loading into the game, or as soon as you destroy something destructible? (on pc)
