I don’t think that was the point. Crashing PCs is a “New” issue. I think they really just wanted to close the “old” issue so people could stop talking about it. At least with this issue (for them), it’s going to be less people affected.

Win 11. Crashing at random, sometimes during loading, sometimes a few minutes into freeroam. Event viewer showing 19 crashes (yes, I tried 19 times), each with a different fault. I have updated everything and run an SFC scan. Nothing works. Interestingly the benchmark works flawlessly.

Ooh, ooh, me too - yay?

Windows 10, newly applied hotfix - loaded game, exit front screen to game, crash to desktop.
Reload, play first race of the street race championship - leaderboard appear, then so does the desktop, crashed again.

Eesh.

I can confirm on my PC I’m having the same issues, rtx 4080, i7 14th gen and 64 GB DDR5.

I tried verifying, installing latest nvidia drivers, restarting the PC and also closing everything in the background

Windows 10 crashes randomly also. Sometimes you can get to game, other times not. I’ve updated GPU drivers. No effect. This is bloody ridiculous.

yeah, CTDs when entering the gameworld, but the ingame benchmark runs fine multiple times.

Game crashes to desktop. Totally can’t play.

Same problem here. It crashes randomly. I’ve tried fixing the issue, but that doesn’t help. Before the update FH5 never crashed.

Same here, although at first I thought that it was the GR Yaris that caused the crashed because “coincidence”. So yeah, game is unplayable right now. Issues after issues
