Full Steering Animation

Currently FM7 has only 180 degree, 90 left and 90 right steering wheel animation. In telemetry it shows the game has a range of around 840 or so. In next FM please show the animation as per the actual range in game physics.
This is a pending request for a long long time and it’s a basic feature that should have been for a long time.

They should definitely add it as a toggable feature at least!

plus the full wheel rotation actually helps you control the car better in cockpit view because u can see how much you are turning it, its not just for immersion and looks.

I believe there might already be a suggestion about this, but it doesn’t matter. This cannot be said enough and is something that has to be included now more than ever.

I keep hearing people want the wheel rotation animation change to 900° so i want to make this topic for the people who want see the change so i like see people to vote so the dev can see this so they can see what the community want for the current to the future forza games thank.

The gear change needs to be more aggressive too. Looks flimsy in Fm7

yes like someone is driving to drop kids at school instead of racing.

every racing sim in the market (assetto corsa, GT7, Automobilista 2, etc) have full steering animation, so why does microsoft cannot have this in their racing games too? it really feels bad to use a wheel as a controller when using cockpit view in FM7 and the animation on the screen NOT matching the real movement of the players arms!

I think they measure themselves against NFS which has no cockpit at all

An option to just toggle the visual steering wheel on or off in the cockpit view would be nice. Because the distance to the dash and the camera position is nice with the mirrors visible and all. But the de synched wheel movement is just awful for precise steering inputs.

it’s synced now for 360 degree, 180 both sides. But they have not announced it officially for some reasons. It’s good enough. But yes there’s no seat adjustment prepared have eye level below the dashboard like a toddler in race car for some cars.
