I want to share with you my experience, what I have today. I started the game as normal, but suddenly the message came that the current savegame could not be loaded. I finished with horror the game immediately and start it again and than… I was greeted with the intro - forza want me to start completely from the beginning. I have finished the game immediately. What the… I thought.
As a next step, I started of the console, and then the message came again, that the current savegame could not be retrieved. The game wanted me to choose between “try again” and “play offline”. I chose first “try again”, but this did not work and then “play offline”. The “Sync-bar” came again but the game has loaded and my whole savegame was back.
Basically, I did that what I have advised you. I have never thought that it would happen sometimes to me, but I could save my score by quitting the intro and restart the console. However, this whole problem was caused by problems with the microsoft- or playground-servers - I don’t know. I could not log in into this forum ‘forzamotorsport.net’ and in the dashboard there was the message, that there is no connection to xbox live although some of my friends was shown as online.
Maybe this can help you. In summary: When forza could not load the savegame, restart your console and choose to play offline, if possible! It is all a probleme with the servers!
