Bingo! Exactly this, for some reason locked cars were never this big of an issue when they were exclusive to Forzathon…I don’t understand the difference here.
You dont I do and its easy with Horizon 3 you had no idear what the Cars would be till the Forzathon was announced the Mistake T10 made was not doing what they did with the Barn finds just a shape of a blank car with no description. Also releasing the full car list was not so bright.
Mind you some of the peeps screaming the loudest have no problems with getting cars for beating a lap time that 99% of us could not do but according to them that is just the way the game goes they got there car for beating the time and its our fault we did not. They only start screaming when they miss out.

I reckon if you manage 3.08.000 or under on the Le Mans de la Sarthe Skydome Edition it should unlock all the cars for you. Like I said bigger issues with FM7 than a few locked cars. I was late to FH3 so I kind of knew what cars I didn’t have and I would buy overpriced at AH only to have them pop up one or two Forzathons later LOL.

I did the recent bounty hunter challenge, but was only good enough to get one car. I did try, but I’m just rubbish at this stuff, so missed out on 2 cars. I had no hope of getting anywhere near Dan’s time, but almost managed the Ferrari. That’s 2 cars I’ve missed out on, and as they were gift cars, they won’t ever appear in the AH. Will they appear in Forzathon or SD? I don’t know, but anybody that bought the game this week won’t be able to get any of the Bounty Hunter cars either. I guess that’s ok though, right? I’m not going to complain about it though, there’s plenty of other cars in the game to race…

Yes and no. We’ve already seen repeated cars in the specialty dealer, so there is a chance that people that missed out on these cars will have another chance. It’s the same thing as people who missed out on earlier Forzathons with FH3. It seems like most of those cars have come back around.
Yeah the Forzathon’s in FH3 recycled fairly frequently. Honestly, I’m just happy to wait it out. There’s more than enough in game to keep me occupied, and keeping credits in hand for SD cars is par for the course. Patience is a virtue after all ;0)

You completed the campaign TWICE? yet only have 300 cars… that’s literally not possible unless you have a serious mountain of credits?

I’ve only just opened the Forza Driver’s Championship on first play (not elite), and I’m at driver level 297 (I think) and have a Collector’s Tier Level of 30 and way more than 300 cars, although I’ve been running standard races on on tracks I don’t like or with cars I don’t like, and Extra Long the rest of the time…Methinks someone might have blitzed the career using only standard length races, in which case it might have been possible to play through twice for not very much reward,
Not a deal breaker by any means, but I still scratch my head at some of the cars that are locked. 2012 Dodge Charger SRT and Jeep Wrangler?? Of the 700+ vehicles included in the game, there are probably only a dozen or so I really want to spend much time driving. Those two locked cars are 2 I am especially looking forward to. I never guessed when looking at the final list this past summer that those 2 would be locked. Oh well, plenty of others to drive until those become available.

I’m glad you aren’t one of those “I only paid $100 for this game so I could drive exactly those 2 cars that are locked. I want a refund” brigade? There’s a few of them about. Elmer Fudd is hunting them though…

I just want the '32 Ford and Prowler. I’ve wanted the '32 since they started putting the Bel Air in Forza during the FM4 days. I was ecstatic when it showed up in FH3 and own, I think four of them on FH3.

My favourite car in the whole world is the '67 Shelby GT500 Fastback. I just think it’s one of the most beautiful pieces of machinery ever made, and that’s a car I’d love to drive in the game, I do love the new 350R too though, but it’s not available (yet). I’ve not looked at too many locked cars though, I may have a look see to see what goodies I can’t get yet…
Um…are you my doppleganger? Lol, seriously, it’s definitely my top car I’d take one of those over ANY other car that was offered to me, except maybe a Cobra Daytona, that would be a hard decision.
Yeah, that’s one car I would buy a game “for just one car” and it’s the only LHD car I’d own. All this new age computer trickery is all well and good, but it’s soul-less. You can’t beat the sound of a twin-carb big block V8. I just wish they’d make them sound better in FM7!
