Looks stunning! I really like that the raindrops on the windshield are more dynamic and moves over the windshield. This looks much more authentic. But I also would love to see a bit more refraction on a raindrop and a little bit more lighting. Just nitpicking on high level
Game looks absolutely incredible. Cars appear to move different as well. More roll in them I think which looks cool. Can’t wait to drive in the night and the rain!
One thing that looks really strange to me though is that the car tyres don’t leave trails in the rain unless my eyesight is worse than I thought. Kinda makes the cars look like they’re floating. Nitpicking really as the game looks incredible though.
Looks gorgeous, shame the music volume was so high, turn that stuff DOWN I wanna hear the engines!
I would assume, seeing as it’s the title car, the did actually record the real life exhaust and engine sounds of the thing so first impressions are…interesting, it being an eco boost V6 obviously it clearly doesn’t have the sound and grunt we’re used to but at the 1:45 mark you hear the hood cam sound more so, and it sounds nice, it sounds nice for what it is, obviously it could still be placeholder but I doubt it, game must nearly be finished by now so it will be interesting to see and ofc hear properly soon.
I hope they include plenty more smaller cars, older cars, rare cars and 1 off cars this time round, the initial list of 100 cars we’ve seen so far is not…that impressive really, has a “been there done that” feel to it, so hopefully the next 350 take our breaths away, after all…with the F&F car pack coming on release day (?) or within the first month, that’s, I am guess, the same pack from FH2? A great first edition, especially doms charger…yum…incredible car, will sound equally amazing.
Good first look, that 60fps is just incredible, so so smooth!
I quite like the car list so far though hopefully it steps up a gear for the next 350+ cars. I hope they go the extra mile with the engine sounds too. Though the engine sounds in the gameplay trailer sounded awsome.
Yes they did! I was more so commenting on the 2017 GT because after all it’s meant to be the “star” car. But yeah, the audi sounded great as did the hurracan ofc. My only griple was that out of the checks 117 cars listed so far, only 22 of them are pre year 2000. Don’t get me wrong I am sure at least over 100 will be pre 2000 but I really hope they pay special attention to certain cars, I won’t make a list here I’ll save that for the wish list, but more vintage cars would be amazing, as would tuner and sporty icons from 60s70s/80s/90s would be grand. Overall FH2 has an awesome list and variety of cars, some with major gaps though like only one Ford Capri? RAGE hehe. But yeah, I am guessing each car pack will be 10 cars and we’ll probably get 6 car packs at least so, plus expansions so, I hope they do well with the attention to detail in audio quality again too.
Yeah I hope there’s more vintage cars too. Even remakes like the Spitfire E type would be welcome. Unfortunately though it has been Confirmed that there will only be 7 cars per car pack. I’ll say we’ll have as many car packs as forza 5, but with less cars in each pack. And yeah I’m sure there will be more than enough pre 2000 cars! Let’s hope so anyway.
this.is.AWESOME! love the look and the butter smooth 60fps! great job, guys! and knowing how well you supported forza 5, I can’t wait to see what good things you’re going to put into F6 after its release!
Hood reflections are great?
Hm, I am rather unhappy it`s as overdone as it was on Forza 5. Looks like a driving mirror again.
Speaking of Hood-view … while the raindrops in cockpit view look awesome, in hood view they dont seem to move at all. I hope thats just something that wasn`t implemented yet on the E3 demo.
Turn 10 needs to tone down the color saturation in the game in sunny/bright environments. That’s what’s giving it that cartoon look. We need more natural color and tones. Also, the tracks look too clean…as if the city was just built. Where’s the imperfections in the environments? Graphically, the game looks amazing, but the color palette needs some work.
