Post #3 in this FAQ has been amended with the opening of the Marketplace.
The Marketplace was opened on April 16. The Marketplace is a menu for all the available FM5 DLC add-ons. From the Marketplace you can purchase Car Packs, individual Cars from packs a la carte, the VIP cars and benefits pack, the Car Pass, and Tokens.
Schoelesy, I would assume that once a file has been overwritten that it cannot be recovered. However, everyone should read the Troubleshooting section of the first post in this thread, about Unsharing a design before editing and resaving it. As a reminder it’s probably a good idea to always customize the save names of your designs (and tuning setups) when working on them so that you don’t run into any trouble overwriting them with your own or a downloaded file with the same name.
The question “Which DLC purchases count toward Forza Rewards?” wasn’t really answered.
I bought the Car Pass today.

Issue: DLC Car Pass for secondary accounts for Forza 5
We have 4 total accounts on the Xbox 1, my husbands, mine and our two boys… My husband and I created our accounts at the same time, when we purchased Forza 5 on release date. My husband purchased the car pass and received all the cars as the one-time free. I received half the cars a few months ago as a one-time free status. Our sons created there accounts recently and the both received all the cars as a one-time free purchase. Why is my secondary account not able to receive all the cars for the one-time free purchase when newer accounts can? There are at least 2-5 (I received up to the Honda car pack free as a one-time free purchase) car packs that I have not received as the one-time free purchase. Are secondary accounts not suppose to receive the cars as a one-time free purchase, could there be an issue with my account or is there something about new accounts? I would love to get the one=time free purchase of the cars Please help!!!
A group of friends and I are running on a Championship where we race full tracks for 50 laps. I just purchased a game capture card because I wanted to save and edit the races but noticed that my saved races are not complete. For example, The first 50 lap race gets interrupted in lap 36 at around 30 to 33 minutes of race.
I noticed similar interruptions on other long races.
Does Xbox replays have a time or HD space limitation?
If not, what could be causing my replays not to be saved complete?
I believe there’s a 30 minute internal time limit on Replays saved within the game.
I don’t know if this will be up to the quality of your capture card, but you could stream the games live through the Twitch app and set it to save recordings of your broadcasts to your Twitch channel, which can go for hours.
Hi ManteoMax, thanks for the reply. The problem with Twitch is that it would only record my camera view and in championship races, using Forza replay utilities, I like to switch between racers, different camera views and narrate the race while recording the reply with the capture card to end up with a video as close to a real race as possible. Could there be an Xbox or Forza 5 configuration to make longer replays or at least figure out the exact limitation to change races to fit them.

This question may have been asked and answered but I cannot seem to find the link to this.
When in single player, you can choose if you want the ai cars to have the designs made by the community on them or not, livery editor. My question is, how does the game choose what designs are on which cars, is this just set at random? As I have noticed that the same designs are used in a particular race, if I go into modern sports series of races, there’s always the same designs assigned to the cars, ie, an incredible hulk one, monster energy etc.
Does this change or will the cars keeps the same designs throughout my career? As I was under the impression that these would keep changing and they were just picked at random from the server? As I don’t want to keep racing against the same designs all the time, i may as well just turn them off
I’m not sure on the answer of how Drivatar designs are chosen (most frequently used? most recently used? most recently liked?) but there’s no way for us to make them change as far as I know, we only have the option to restrict Drivatars from using any designs (manufacturer paint only).
Hey guys I have a question, and would appreciate any help. Earlier today ( about 5 hrs ago), I redeemed my rewards for Forza 5. I’ve many times redeemed my rewards and it works flawlessly, but today for some reason I’m not receiving the gift. When I go on the rewards page, it confirms that its been redeemed, yet I still haven’t received the gift email. Any ideas whats going on?

Your saved photos are found in the Forza Gallery menu in the game. Selecting a photo brings up File Options with the choice to Share or Unshare a photo. Shared photos will be visible to other players in the Forza Gallery menu. All of your photos, regardless of Share status, appear in your Gallery at FM.net, which can be found in the drop down Community menu at the top of the website page. Right click on a photo to save it to your computer for uploading to your OneDrive account or other photo hosting site.
Yeah this isn’t working at all. None of my pictures from Forza 5 show up on Fm.net and only a couple of them from older games show up. Right now I can see 4 out of probably 50-75 pictures I have taken. I just want to view my photos.
This is the second time Forzamotorsport 5 does not load my profile and have to start from the begining. I lost all my cars and money again for your unfinished game.
We should be ashamed not to have solved this problem while you sell packs of expansions cars. Play Forzamotorsport since Forza 1 and this seems indecent. Enjoy my money the last time.
