Forza Motorsport: 1 year anniversary

Most employers these days have a probationary period of 3, 6 or 9 months and if you don’t perform the job is not for you and they let you go. The 9 months is up and the constant crashing is still a thing even tho a support team member closed the thread on advise from a Turn10 tester saying it was fixed before asking the community, the players, the customers Is this still a thing like in all of the other trouble shooting hub threads but this one was closed before asking Is this still a thing

That to me (and call me what you like) is an issue in it’s self, let’s see if this post suddenly vanishes like the others that to some bring this forum down.

I’m actually happy they finally added a roadmap. Atleast now we have some communication and an idea as what to expect. I wish they would have done this from the beginning but better late than never. Looking forward to these updates, especially adding to the Builders Cup. Let’s hope things go smoother for the rest of the year.

Add events AND KEEP THEM !!! The single player events list is embarrassing, the anemic builders cup. I remember how the events list from FM7 took me weeks to finish, not days. The game COULD be full of events for single player aficionados’ to enjoy, but you keep removing them for some stupid reason, it’s infuriating.

It looks pretty good and has stuff for single players to actually do, unlike this game. This games singleplayer can be completed in a few sessions, you probably could do it in a day if you chose to, it’s embarrassing and they don’t seem to care.

Yeah, I’ve been playing the beta for TDU:SC and its quite good but a year old build of the game. I can’t wait for the full game to come out in a week or so because the launch build looks amazing!

If you haven’t seen yet they’ve already released a video showing their plan for development for the first year. Watching the video you can tell that they actually listen to their fans.

Notice that they actually give dates for their content and that they don’t just say “by the end of the year” and they actually gave an update video with leads of the studio talking directly to their fans.

Yeah they really seem like passionate devs, who truly listen to the wants of fans, these t10 guys don’t care and it shows. All they had to do was leave events(even removing rewards) after they expired to bolster the singleplayer content, but they completely ghosted us players who asked for it. Now I have two games wishlisted to take the place of this mistake. Evo and Unlimited SC. I’m sure both have tons of singleplayer fun just waiting to be be had. EDIT: I even bought The Crew:Motorfest and is has tons of singleplayer action with more coming all the time.

Seriously?

Awesome???

Just ONE of the cups from FM7 has more content than FM23’s entire “career”. 6 cups, each with 15 to 18 series, each containing between ~ 4 to 6 races. Figuring conservatively with an average of 5 to 6 minutes per race, that’s somewhere roughly between 30 and 50 hours of gameplay time. For people who have school, jobs, families, lives, etc., - that is a significant amount of time, and it’s perfectly reasonable to expect it to take weeks, if not months to complete.

So - yes, seriously.

Fm5 and Fm6 took weeks to complete not Fm7.
I have a job, a wife and 3 sons.

Good for you…? Everyone has different schedules, availability, and priorities. :man_shrugging:

Theyre not in the same position that turn 10s in, so they’re obviously going to go all out with the communication. Dates also dont mean much unless things are delivered on time. I hope test drive is good, but im personally not too impressed. Theyve focused on such a narrow way to play that i dont see it being successful.

I dont think they should have left every monthly series, but i do think things like endurance races should have stayed. Most people dont replay career races unless they liked a particular thing about them. I think it would be ideal if freeplay had a custom championship option and we could make any one we’d like while including things like practice and qualifying.

I see how you are trying to frame me taking weeks to finish fm7 as some sort of bad thing, but with a life and the sheer amount of events, yes that’s approximately how long it took. In contrast to the builders cup which can be completed in a very very short amount of time, days even. It’s a fact that fm7 has an eventlist which is pretty decent.(I dont care about fm4-5-6) If these fools would just keep the fomo events and organize them in a similar fashion we could have much more content for singleplayers to re-race. It baffles me why they have chose to simply remove all added content.

For many players (those who recently started playing or those who choose not to participate in FOMO for whatever reason) it’s not even about reracing it, it’s about experiencing the content at all.

You dont need to defend yourself, i dont believe hes being truthful about finishing it sooner than that anyway.

Not to mention that FM7 required you to go back and re-do every single championship AGAIN in order to properly complete it.

I didn’t actually double-finish the FM7 career until a year or two ago, partly because I did long race lengths the first time around (a: because they were more fun, 3 laps was rarely enough time to get to the front even if you were substantially faster, and b: back then the extra credit payout was actually useful). Also didn’t particularly care for some of the challenges, especially the Top Gear track stuff like bowling.

I was going to mention that too, but it’s been a while and I couldn’t quite remember what the deal was. So that adds that much more time to my estimate. If you’re completing all of that in less than a week, you’re probably either a) not sleeping or b) not being honest.
