I think the official price for the GPU I have is 2749€ it’s an ASUS TUF GAMING RTX 5090 OC. Other ppl even paid 4000€ I saw that halfway decent (YES HALFWAY DECENT) offer on “Caseking” and just bought it. I would have wasted so many hours of my life just looking for a decent price and I didn’t want to waste so much time anymore. The 3352€ that I bought it for was somehow “okayish” because else I only saw offerings with 4000€+ and some ppl bought it for that price. I said myself I would limit it to 3200€ but then just bought it for a bit more. I mean at price ranges of 3000€+ another 150 bucks aren’t a big deal anymore.
In general I think I did a good purchase compared to what others were willing to pay. Yes it’s crazy to pay that much money for a single computer part, but it was still “okayish” compared to what others were willing to pay for it.
That GPU is so awesome, I won’t have to worry about anything for like 5-8 years. Thanks to DLSS4 I can just create more FPS, even if the game runs bad. This takes a lot of load off the CPU and that is what makes it longer lasting. Yes it’s crazy and expensive, but I don’t have to worry anymore for quite some time.
I can play Cyberpunk 2077 all maxed out and it looks like, I can’t even find words for it. It’s so super awesome. It’s graphics that are so awesome that I could drool because of it. I mean seriously it looks sooooooooooo aweeeeesooooooomeee.
In all these years of gaming, I never seen anything like it.
I can set texture res to 200% in FM23, I basicly play the game in 8K. The clarity of the picture is so freaking extreme. But I get FPS drops down to like 71 FPS sometimes, but it’s worst case if I have the maximum amount of stuff on screen. For whatever reason it drops to 71 for a half second or something on the final 2 last corners on Indianapolis (Full Track) whatever it’s called. But usually it’s 95% of the time the limit I set and that is 110 FPS. Because of G-Sync, I have to set it a bit lower, to be able to play without tearing without V-Sync.
I think the crowds that watch the races are the problem, for whatever reason they cost a lot of CPU and GPU power. I mean they just stand there and play their stupid animations of cheering etc. but it somehow costs a lot of computing power. I wish we could just set the crowds to minimum like in other games. In Cyberpunk 2077 I can set crowds to medium or low if I want to, there also is a slider for it in GTA V/Online. But there isn’t in FM23. The game really needs that option.
