Forza Horizon 6 Possible Locations

I really wanted to make a separate discussion about FH6 location but I keep getting redirected to this thread instead so I’m sorry for being a year late but I’ve been doing a lot of thinking and here’s what I’ve got and I’ll try to get to the point as quickly as possible so here I go.

#1 Germany :de: :x:why? Well cause it’ll be way too similar to what Forza Horizon 4 was and also FH1-FH5 map’s has a form of the “Autobahn” highway but it’s just a different name and also Asetto Corsa Evo is already set in Germany and knowing Playground Games they’re going to avoid Germany at all costs now I’m not saying that Asetto Corsa Evo is neither a “threat” or a competitor but Germany is not it.

#2 China :cn:, Japan, :jp: or South Korea :kr::white_check_mark:now here’s where things get interesting Forza Horizon 5 has given us a lot of Asian car’s from all 3 countries listed above and a handful of them are brand new to Forza Horizon and also Forza Horizon 5 was the first ever Horizon Series to introduce Chinese vehicles so with that said Forza Horizon 6 might be set in China or maybe Japan or South Korea or even a combination of all 3 of them kinda like how Forza Horizon 2 map was.

#3 United States Of America :us::white_check_mark:and :x: now here’s where I’m split 50/50 cause as much as I’d love to go back to the USA but it’s been done so much by other games like Need For Speed, GTA, and The Crew (and kinda the same thing with The Crew Motorfest)so it’s possible that USA might be possible also does anyone remembers back in Forza Horizon 4 in the final update we were given the Vuhl 05RR which was a clue as to where Forza Horizon 5 was set in? Well in FH5 current update Series 43 we were given a returning 1995 Ford Mustang and the 2022 (I think it’s a 2022?) Dodge Challenger (SRT Hellcat or Demon?) And since this is the final update (or atleast for now and no I’m not gonna include the Playstation Release) cause until we have confirmation that we’ll be getting new car’s after Series 44 I’ll be standing by my statement so with that said what if the 1995 mustang and the 2022 Dodge Challenger are the 2 final car’s and they’re the Vuhl 05RR all over again?

And also if we were going back to the USA it’d be neat to see the Southern States of the USA which are the following Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia and while the USA is highly unlikely but even if it were a possible location my suggestion of 16 out of the 50 states is nothing but wishful thinking So what do y’all think about all of this?

AC Evo has only just been revealed to have part of it set around the Nurburgring. Playground Games will have chosen the location for FH6 years ago. If it is Germany, they won’t suddenly scrap all that just because someone else is using the same country, especially a game that isn’t in the same genre and isn’t as popular.

I’d prefer Scandinavia, but I think they might go somewhere in Asia, like Korea. China might be too risky. Japan would never match the hype. Somewhere in Africa would be as big a surprise as Mexico.

Oceana is a region, not a continent. I live and work in Papua New Guinea which is north of Australia and part of Oceana. Australia is its own continent. No one I know in this part of the world considers the Pacific Islands to be part of one continent.

My top two choices would be Italy and Japan. They both have some good terrain and weather possibilities.

We’ve had Italy before though.

A lot of fans want Japan or Germany, but they seem to be way too ambitious, not to mention it would clash with either Tokyo Xtreme Racer or Assetto Corsa EVO. Some are predicting that FH6 could be set in China, but that’s a potential political landmine, should it be set in the mainland, or if the game would be set in like say, Hong Kong, it will also clash with Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown.

Realistically, I could see South Korea as the setting for Forza Horizon 6, and if it’s anything by past trends as to what provided hints for the next location in a Horizon title (examples being a Australian cars being part of FM6’s paid DLC leading to FH3 being set in Australia and British cars leaked on the files of FM7 paving the way for it to be set in Great Britain, and in particular, Scotland), the fact that we’ve been getting a ton of Hyundais in both FH5 and FM2023 may suggest that FH6 would be going to South Korea.

It might be a return to the environment style of FH4 as South Korea does indeed have all four seasons and a proper mix of city and winding roads at the same time.

We got another car pack with very specific japanese cars from the pike factory. Im pretty sure these cars were only available in Japan, so thats that.
It wont surprise if that hints at Japan, although might also be Japan and South Korea (Similar to FH2).
Could all also just very well mean nothing and we get some totally different location in the end.

I think that Brazil would be cool :man_shrugging:

Agreed. I genuinely feel like Horizon 6 actually stands a good chance of being in Japan this time unlike previous sequels.

It’d probably be too soon to do Brazil after Mexico. I can definitely see them doing Brazil at some point, but I can’t see the developers choosing two maps known for warm weather in row.

Yeah it’s either Germany or Japan at this point. I know I want Japan , but that means fh6 will be in Germany :joy::joy:… plus I’m scared of forza doing Japan and completely screwing it up . I have nothing against English people , but every horizon game always have British people narrating the story and such . Yeah Mexico had a alittle bit of Mexican voice lines … but it was just done so bad . When they pick different locations they need to focus on culture not mixing every culture with UK culture

You cant forget though, the Horizon Festival is British.
They travel around the world and itll most likely be like FH5 and Rami. We’ll probably have about 2-4 characters of the culture the Festival is set in.

It’s Japan now more than ever why cause Playground Games went to Kanagwa or Kanagawa? Japan to the Nissan Heritage Museum and let’s face it they’ll probably weren’t just scanning car’s in the Nissan Museum in Japan but like @FLX_36 suggested FH6 could be set in Japan and South Korea but only time will tell as to where FH6 will be set in which is 99 days till June 9th for the Xbox Games Showcase

Yes I also saw this in ericship111’s vid the other day. They probably were also there to scan new models for the r32 gtr and so on.

Exactly and on top of that 40 publishers/developers will be attending the Summer Games Fest/Xbox Games Showcase as well and also the Fable reboot has been delayed for a 2026 release and yes I’m aware that Fable is being developed by a different team of Playground Games but there has to be a reason why they’re delaying it for a 2026 release no?

Seeing the recent hints such as Nissan Pike cars (Be-1, Figaro, Pao, S-Cargo) being the potential final car pack for FH5 coming alongside the Horizon Realms update, and the release of the game on PS5, a lot of signs are pointing to Japan as the potential location for Forza Horizon 6, but a good question to raise is which region will it be set in, should FH6 ever be set in Japan?

If it’s set in the Tokyo-Hakone-Gotemba area, the map could potentially be the largest, liveliest and most diverse map, but it will take direct aim at Tokyo Xtreme Racer, especially since it will feature some elements of the Shuto Expressway.

Other candidates include the Kansai region, such as Osaka, Kobe and Kyoto, and Nagoya, also home to Toyota, as in the city.

Japan would be great

Well we’re going to Japan after all cause Forza Motorsport 8 just confirmed that Fujimi Kaido is finally returning in May 2025 so that means that Forza Horizon 6 will be set in Japan cause remember both Forza Motorsport and Forza Horizon Series do share with each other on just about everything

That doesnt have to be the case though. Fujimi Kaido is just the most requested track in Forza history, since its a legend in the forzaverse (From the Xbox 360 era). Its just a great track.
Doesnt mean were going to Japan (although not unlikely) Its more of a coincidens in my books.
