Forza Horizon 6 Possible Locations

You mean like Forza Motorsport?

Before FH5 was revealed, I thought they might follow the trend of interpreting numbers as letters or vice versa, and call it Horizon5 (HorizonS) with the 5 looking like an S.

As for content, I liked the idea of all previous versions getting a 4K makeover and being accessible through a menu, with a career taking you through each individual Horizon. Monthly playlists with new rewards would start after 6 months, and new DLC maps yearly. That would keep things fresh.

JAPAN WOULD BE AWESOME AND DO A DRIFT STORY

I heard rumours about Germany, someone someone talking about Forza creating X accounts and adding the language at the end of the account name before release of a game.

Like with FH5 having Español before it was revealed to be in Mexico
Or FH2 with Français.

This info is from Ericship 111, he got his info from ForzaWorld, but ForzaWorld got some things wrong about it though.

Hope thought are either China or Germany or Japan.

I think Germany would be more unlikely since it would be the 3rd european location.
Tbh it could be everything in Asia would be my bet since we havent had Asia yet.
We also did not have Africa yet but with so many people complaining about the dessert and no modern cities, its also pretty unlikeley although would be a pleasant surprise.

we also havent had antarctica or the moon yet

It’s either :de: or :jp:.
I guess we have to wait until xbox showcase.

Actually, :germany: makes sense .
FH1 - America
FH2- EU
FH3 - Oceania
FH4 - EU
FH5 - America

By this pattern above, FH6 is going to be either EU or a new continent (asia or africa).

Based on rumors and theories, it’s either :germany: or :japan:.

Japan is famous for: JDM cars, tuning, manufacturers like toyota, nissan, honda, etc, futuristic cities and technologies, hosting many racing events.

Germany is famous for: race tracks like nurburgring, hockenheim, etc, manufacturers like porsche, bmw, audi, VW, etc, mercedes benz was the first manufacturer to make the first car ever, autobahn, VW group brands are some of the most famous car manufacturers in the world (Lamborghini for example).

So, both places are a very good choice for a game like forza horizon.

Some asian country would be my personal preference.

They could do some parts of Africa that isn’t desert, as Africa has different climates not just sand but jungles and etc. They could do Gabon or Côte d’Ivoire, as they are mostly green.

Well technically Mexico is North America, We didn’t have South America yet.
Wikipedia - Mexico, officially the United Mexican States, is a country in the southern portion of North America. Covering 1,972,550 km², it is the world’s 13th largest country by area; with a population of over 130 million, it is the 10th most populous country and has the most Spanish speakers in the world.

But we have jungle in FH5 so also pretty unlikely, in general the climate is not hugely different between what you said and Mexico.

My biggest problem with Horizon 6 possibly taking place in Germany is that it’ll suffer from the same issues that Horizon 4’s map suffered from: lack of biodiversity. Even if the season mechanic gets an upgrade from Horizon 5’s woeful execution of it, the map will always be one color every week.

Also, I often see people listing the Autobahn and the Nürburgring being a part of their ideal version of a Germany map, but there’s just no way the Nürburgring would be added because, if it were built to scale, it would probably dominate over half the map, and the Autobahn loses all of its real life appeal in a racing game because we’ve never been speed restricted on highways in prior games. In other words, every highway we’ve ever had in a Horizon game has been the Autobahn just in other countries and under different names.

This is exactly what I think too! Your worded everything perfectly. I live in Germany and the Autobahn just looks like an ordinary highway system. Germany would in many ways just feel like Forza Horizon 4.5. We dont have massive and beatiful modern cities with skyscrapers, the closest we have is Frankfurt.

They could’ve added more snow half way down around the volcano and a little around Copper Canyon (As snow falls there in real life), but Mexico doesn’t have a lot of snow, mostly snows at a higher altitude (As Copper Canyon’s highest point is at around 8,300ft).

But not gonna lie, FH4 had more interesting weather. It might not be the best quality, but it’s cool and make the game more interesting. Wanting to drift in snow in one week or wanting to see colourful flowers the next week.

It’s kinda weird how they decided to name the continent in that region.
Some say Australia is continent, some say Oceania and some say they are the same just different names. It really depends on who you ask.
But the safe decision is to name it Oceania, just to be safe.

Hopefully they show it then.

Honestly, I’m in an opposite state of mind. Since Germany and Japan seem to be the hot choices at the moment, I think Playground are more likely to do Germany over an Asian country because of Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown.

Hong Kong Island as a location was announced before Horizon 5 even launched, so Playground likely hadn’t started production on Horizon 6 yet. Assetto Corsa Evo, on the other, only announced the open world Nürburgring map a few months ago, long after Horizon 6 likely started production.

I’ve already stated why I personally don’t think Germany is a great choice, but of the two popular options for a new map location, it definitely has the greater odds of the two because of what the competition has chosen for their map locations.

We also have to keep in mind, forza never really went with the popular opinions since japan is wished for since FH2(2014).
And also we had GB in FH4 wich would be fairly close to germany.

So if it goes somewhere id still say asia but more likely to korea or something like that.

Japan :
People want this since FH2 (2014) or even earlier, so everyone has their “perfect” Forza Horizon Japan in mind. It would be impossible for PGG to please the majority, so Japan (as a standalone map) is very unlikely.

Yes we have been getting many Japanese cars in the last few months, but that doesnt mean anything (Yes we saw this in FH3 with British cars being edded towards the end of that game and FH4 being in the UK). The japanese car industry is just one of the biggest in the world wich means → more japanese cars.

Germany :
Almost the same as Japan, we also have been getting many german cars as of late, but we’ve had the UK in FH4 and in terms of biodiversity, Germany and the UK would just be too similar.

If youre sayaing its the Alps, we have also had those in FH2 (kind of)

Autobahn doesnt even make sense as an argument, since there arent even speed limits ingame so every highway in FH ever has basically been the autobahn.

Also with the releas of AC EVO and their Eifel map around the Nürburgring would make it hard for PGG (This cant be an argument though since that was only just announced recently and FH6 is likely in development since 2021/2022)

My speculations :

  • We havent seen Asia
  • Japan is unlikely
  • China is a possibility but TDUSC already has HongKong
  • Only country left in Asia (or that part of Asia) with somewhat of a car culture, would be Korea (south Korea)

I could also imagine it being like FH2 again with multiple countries, but i doubt Japan will be a part of it all

In recent time we have seen that the chinese car manufactures (such as MG) have had coorparations with Forza. We have also seen the same thing with BMW and Forza Motorsport though.

It is pretty tough and in the end it will most likely be none of the above.
