I’ve seen a few people claiming/speculating that Forza Horizon 6 will be set in Germany and my genuine question is where is the source for said claims are from? Or am I missing something? And is it all nothing but just people hoping for Forza Horizon 6 to be set in Germany and that’s it or what? Cause I’m confused and curious about it.

For every person you’ve heard say “Germany” there’s probably 100x more who’ve said “Japan”. Truth is, no one knows. No basis for anyone’s claims that I’m aware of.

Well that’s true I just find it weird that I’ve seen talks of people confirming that FH6 will be set in Germany despite FH5 has gotten more Asian vehicles than German vehicles so

Someone on Instagram from ForzaWorld made a claim that it’s supposed to be based in Germany and AR12nick thinks that FH6 Germany might be announced at gamescom on his X/former Twitter account and another person on his X/former Twitter account said “Forza Horizon 6 rumored to be in Germany? I’m all for it could get the nurburgring maybe?”
And that’s why I asked for some possible answers.

FH1 - north america
FH2 - europe
FH3 - oceania
FH4 - europe
FH5 - north america
So, based on this patern, FH6 will take place at europe (and that’s why germany is a possibility) or we might be surprised with asia or south america or even africa.
The WW2 ‘bad guy’ symbols, which are banned in game, and in Germany. In Forza some years ago Chevrolet’s Super Sport models got renamed as such, rather than continuing to use their initials.
By the logic expressed above by Gemini (an AI?), I don’t expect a future Horizon to be set in Confederate states, because that flag isn’t allowed, although General Lee liveries abound in all the games despite not meeting the requirements of the CoC.

I’ve seen many people suggesting China, due to the number of cars from there being added to the game. This occurred before, with Australian cars in FH2 and British ones late in FH3.
The Vuhl in FH4 was just one car, but then the whole Mexican theme in FH5 is paper thin - it could be New Mexico, Arizona or California. There isn’t even ONE Spanish language radio station! A real insult to the host nation.
Obviously lots want Japan, but Korea could be coming instead. There’s been many Hyundais and a Kia added to FH5 of late, so perhaps another hint?
As for a European location, I’d like Scandinavia because there’d be four distinct seasons again and there’s some stunning and unique landscapes in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden.
Regarding motorsport heritage, they have well-known and respected racing & rallying traditions & legendary heroes, plus manufacturers SAAB-Scania and Volvo. DLC could be based on Iceland and/or Greenland. Ice racing on frozen lakes and sheer rock climbing would be great additions to Horizon. As for music, it’s not just ABBA and Sibelius.
However, if they were to try somewhere new, an African country that isn’t as barren as FH5’s interpretation of Mexico could be interesting. Kenya has its Safari Rally and Mount Kilimanjaro, but it could end up like a rehash of FH5. Whatever it is, they made their choice ages ago.

I hate to break it to you while at the same time I could be proven wrong but I strongly believe that FH6 will not be set in an European country it’s going to be set in Asia with all of the Asian car’s we’ve been getting consistently in every single update in FH5 but again I could be proven wrong

Okay; now that’s interesting.
One funny thing though; if i remember right, at the apex allstars livestream, developers were talking about japan at the beginning of the livestream. Maybe this is a hint that shows us that FH6 will take place in asia? (You can replay the livestream and correct me if i’m wrong)
I’m going to be honest here. I would like the FH6 to take place in the asia. Just imagine all of those sakura trees. It’ll be beautiful!

A lot of games are doing Asian country themes this year games like Palworld, Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown, and Assassins Creed Shadows.
Now this is just my personal take but it just seems weird that there’s an Asian trend in video games which I’m not complaining but maybe just maybe Playground Games and the Forza Horizon Series are next?
IIRC one of the guests of monthly streams was “mexican culture consultant” and he was talking that they don’t have spanish music only radios or something like that. Again, IIRC, it was long time ago 
, but I remember it gave me a vibe that he thinks it would be racist(?), or maybe I should say too stereotypical(?). I partially agree with him, but can’t really imagine radio playing La Cucaracha on the loop 
His statement was about the enitre culture, radio was just part of it.

Personally I don’t care in which country/continent it would be. For me it even doesn’t have to be connected to real world. Although, real world monuments and locations are nice touch.
I just hope it will have good road layout

I think there’s more to Mexican music than that! I went to Miami Fla and there were Spanish radio & tv stations. There’s loads of pop artists over the decades who record in Spanish. Mix them in with a DJ speaking the language and you’ve got a channel that doesn’t sound like London.
I’ve also been to Spain and part of the fun is eating & drinking local stuff and listening to local radio. Even if you can’t understand it, it’s all part of the atmosphere.

This is true cause I’ve heard more talks of FH6 being in China or Japan more than Germany I just found it weird that out of nowhere Germany popped up as a location for FH6
I can be safe in ruling out China with all the back and forth going on over certain apps and devices.
Hong Kong is out as that’s taken by the upcoming fail Test Drive Solar Crown
Germany or Italy or even a mix of the Swiss Alps covering multiple countries would be fun
