Forza Horizon 3 won't launch

Hi this is my first time being here, I recently purchased Forza Horizon 3 today and waited a couple hours for the game to download. Finally it finished and I went to launch the game and it only shows the splash screen for around 7 sec and then turns black, a couple seconds later it changes to a grey background and suddenly closes without no error or warning. I have not gotten past this point at all since i owned this game and tried running it. I have purchased this game on the Xbox and played a couple hours on that but then decided to purchase it for windows 10 as well. I’ve tried resetting the game in settings, updating windows, updating Nvidia drivers ect. As far as i know my Antivirus is not interfering because it has not come up with any blocked programs or software, plus over its activation period from 19/10/18 it has not detected a single threat. Can someone please help, I’ve looked at many forums but none of their solutions has seemed to fix mine.

32 GB installed RAM

You say you purchased it for Xbox. Was that the disc version?

Same issue here on a totally different config: Ryzen 5 2600x 16 GB/ RX480 8GB. I always get the startup logos and the welcome page. If I press continue to enter the actual game world, I see the RAM usage shoot up to 16GB and after that it crashes to the desktop. This game used to work on my machine, but maybe the dreaded 1809 Win update is causing trouble?
