Forza 3 Crashes right after I open it.

I was playing Forza Horizon 3 yesterday and had to rush so I just shut down my PC without exiting Forza. Today when I click ‘‘Play’’ or double click desktop shortcut, the gray screen with centenario shows up, and after 1 - 2 seconds that window just closes without any error message. I tried turning off my microphone, restarting PC, reinstalling Forza but the crash is still here. SOMEONE HELP I WANT TO PLAY THE GAME.

My specs:

GTX 1060 6GB
Intel Core I5-7400k
Windows 10 PRO 64-bit
1TB Hard drive
230GB SSD

Same issue.
Bought game today tried all the tips none works. Installed game 2 times, tried it with and without addons, same stuff happens. Other free games from window store works so its some issue with this game.

My first and last forza game, probably just wasted my money as I won’t even be able to get a refund as its not seller fault.

Exactly the same thing started happening to me today after my game crashed.

It started to crash after installing Windows10 fall update?

Very annoying, I had to redownload the whole game to get it to start again.

Tried downloading the game but get the same error.

If anybody has fixed this please let us know.

Hi,

Me and my friend had the same issue.

Simple solution : Go to the Microsoft Store and download one of those free apps, for instance Hearts (cardgame 140 MB or so).

Result : After you’ve done that, game starts up just fine.

Thanks for that. I’ve al;ready tried downloading one of the free apps. But still didn’t help.

If you are playing with any login other than your primary that is why this is happening. If you just login to your computer with your primary login Forza 3 and Gears 4 will work again. Play a couple of minutes and exit. Then go back to Accounts in settings and redo your local account and login with the local account and Forza will work with it too.

There is some sorta check going on where the game needs to know the owner of the computer owns the game I guess. I dont know but boy has it pissed me off. I almost wanted to just try and get my money back. Technically if Microsoft cannot give us a solution then they have a Broken game. We cant just re download it over and over. Good luck I really hope that is the reason it is doing this for you.

ok the game stopped loading after i had just loaded it, i started Forza 7 and FH3 to get my Hub credits, then noticed that the online stuff in FH3 wasnt working, i exited the game to check the net but couldnt then start either game. I restarted my computer, which installed an update, but it still doesnt work.

Im not sure it is the update as both games started but all of a sudden stopped, before i restarted
