Hey guys,
when I start Forza Horizon 3, after starting the game the windowed slpash screen flashes for a few seconds and disappears.
Once I got the message that game wasn’t able to run because I had no internet connection and since then it just crashes immediately like siad before.
My internet connection is fine, I’ve played Forza Horizon 3 without any problems a week ago.
Please help!
go to services and start the Windows Pushtoinstall service, its a manual service that should start by itself when asked, but it doesnt always work. that should let Forza start again…its related to the XBOX store and its buggy.

Yes, you are correct, if you go to the services tab. There are many ways to do things on a pc these days. I gave up long ago trying to tell people how to do it, just where it is when I can.
Sadly this did not fix the problem for me and i still can’t play fh3 but i can play fh4 perfectly
Same problem here, the game is not starting anymore. I have nearly ~200 hours in this game. Other games work without problems. There are many people with this problem, look at the 1 star ratings in the windows store!

Probably talking about the 1 star reviews of the hotwheels expansion from people saying it won’t work, not knowing they hadn’t played it enough to unlock it.
Mine takes very long to start up when switched on. I can drive the car that I last used but if I go to choose a different one, the game doesn’t do anything. It just keep showing the same car I last drove.
Hello, I have the same problem again.
But this time when I run the PushToInstall service, it closes itself after a short while.

EDIT: Ok, problem solved. I wasn’t logged in in my xbox app. Now it works again.
1 star ratings for any game are hilarious, Idiots who haven’t found forums yet. I like the ones who give 1 star for a game because an 8gb game takes far too long to download on their Wi-Fi connection.
Or the ones who scream and dance and call the developer names when the game wont run as it is a Pr-Order and not yer released, PUBG got quite a lot like that.
And then the other ones My game wont work it is 1am on bla bla date and you said game would be released today you lied and game dint work -5 STARS for your sucky game that wont work ah those on the wrong side of the time line who think there time is the only time.
Many things can go wrong with a PC install Microsoft Store being one of them Droped packets bad connection ISP goes down for a few minuets, But the Biggest culperate is the Windows store out date lack of pause and resume that works if you have to do a shut down or your ISP drops out for a couple of hours.
They can do it with the Xbox but not PC makes no sense at all. and is not Turn 10s fault so lets not blame them for every little problem the game has on PC. As to fix all the problems the game has on PC would require 2,000 different versions of Horizon 3 and then where would we be still needing a few more versions because 1 of them 2,000 wont work on a certain PC.
But teck support would love it What version are you using ahh ok well try version 2,xxx,xxx and see if that works. would keep you busy forever trying all 2,000+ versions.
I have the same problem too,when i launch the game it launches well but its stuck on the loading please wait… screen where it shows you a clip of the game like the cars or something and the game wont let me play idk how to fix this i already restarted the game and it did not work.
having the same issues for the last few days, try all the method find online. none of them work .
At the END reset Win10 and start everything form scratch seem stabilize the problem a bit . FH3 still crash form time to time but at least i can play it more than 10 mins or get any play at all.

I found a fix! im not sure if you need this anymore, but for anyone who has the same problem, just search up Forza in the start menu, right click and go to app settings, then terminate and clear the data. im not sure if it will clear your game saves because it should be on the cloud so be careful!
I’ve tried and still does not work…
an somebody confirm if Forza Horizon 3 works with the new update 2004 may? I’ve spent two days and tried so many “solutions” and does not work at all. After 10 seconds after starting it it simply crashes to desktop, at the Microsoft Corporation login screen when it shows the loading circle.
