Forza Horizon 3 Handling Comparison

Hi all,

I’m fairly new to the Forza Games. I have only played the original Horizon which I did not enjoy and Horizon 2 which I extremely enjoyed. I liked how the cars felt in Horizon 2 and how every car had weight to it. This physics in the game were very satisfying compared the newest need for speed. It was refreshing. I would like to know if the majority of the physics and handling remain the same in Horizon 3. I know there has been changes and improvements, but does Horizon 3 still feel the same compared to Horizon 2. What noticeable differences can be made between the two games?

Thanks for any and all feedback.

i can tell you one thing, that if you use a wheel to play, you will notice that horizon 2 doesnt have that aweful auto-return-to-center programming that ruins the FFB like horizon 3 does.

Handling in horizon 3 is closer to horizon 2 than the first. If you like the 2 you’ll like the third.

As new in this one, the playground off course, the game is a bit more focused on offroad, there are new cars and new interesting upgrades. But for the rest it’s still a horizon game

Ride height and suspension have a way bigger impact offroad than in Horizon 2. You can’t take a Lambo into a cross country race and do well against trucks and buggies.

A lot of the cars have pretty severe understeer. It can be tuned out, but its still pretty annoying.

Tires greatly increase your PI, while power upgrades barely bump it up at all. AWD is also super OP. Basically PI means almost nothing in this game. You’re better off using the actual benchmarks instead.
