Hi I cant play this game its Sync up past 20 30 to 100 then it wont load after this and been like this for 15 min’s to 1 hour and I cant play this game I have done all the following check my connection,multi player connection.open up ports,remove my profile reset console ETC.Have done everything xbox support have said and still not fixed I have removed the game now and downloading again but I know for sure this might not work as have had this issue before they told me can refund but what Is the point ill go buy a disc install it but u have to SYNC so no point.Also I have checked on google about this issue and in different forums people have same issue as me sorry.Please can u make patch or update to fix this bug ? as I really want to play this game and I cant and im upset about this sorry.

ok so i was playing online earlier on this game then stopped for a few hours went to go back on and it said sync data … so i left it for 15 minutes and it didnt do anything.
i rebooted the game and it got to 34% then froze so i rebooted and then it got to 54% and froze so yep rebooted again and got to 100% and just stayed there and done nothing.
i deleted it and reinstalled it … (takes forever) -.- and just says sync data …
factory reset the xbox one … and just says the same thing all over again -.-
If you have suffered from save game loss/corruption email forzafb@microsoft.com with the title “FH2 game save” explaining the problem, someone will try to help.
I’ve send them a email explaining my situation since I lost all my data from FH2 and I received this message from them saying : ‘‘Thank you for contacting Turn 10 Studios. When people say it won’t sync they need to be more descriptive.
Does it just seem to get stuck? If so leave it, let it have time (hours) to do something that should take seconds.
Does it stop and give you an error message?
Does it claim it has synced but start the game from the beginning.
These are 3 very different scenarios.
The most common one people get to start with is the first one and it is critical that people let it finish syncing. Sorry but XBOX support have this wrong. NEVER CANCEL A SYNC even if it looks frozen.
When I got a new console the sync looked frozen but I left it overnight and the nenxt morning I was in the game fine.
I am having the same issue except when it does finally sync, it starts me out at the beginning of the game. If anyone knows how to fix this issue PLEASE help! i have nearly 1,000 hours put into this game #no life. But it would suck if i somehow lost all my games saved data.
Havent been able to play in about a month. Any news on this being fixed and data being recovered? I have 57mb of saved data that I can see but it wont sync. Have received NO emails back. Really irritating honestly.
Ive let it “complete” syncing many many times which takes hours I know. For some reason sometimes after the long syncing, the intro vid begins to play which seems like bad news. I dont go past that. If my data is gone then i just want help to build my garage back up. It just doesnt make sense that I can see that i have 57mb of data yet its like the game doesnt see it. Really unfortunate
My Forza Horizon 2 will say syncing data but it will always take a long time to load, and when it finally does it make me start a new game when I already have one, If anyone has any advice on how to fix this it will be very appreciated.
Problem was solve , uninstall forza 2 and all add on packs, clear local cache, go to forza horizon 2 and install game first, DO NOT START THE GAME AFTER IT IS DONE PLZ YOU WILL SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE!!! Install all packs/add ons and when they r all complete you may start the game and sync, AND BOOM YOUR BACK INTO YOUR FORZA HORIZON 2 COMMUNITY

You’ve got to let people vent their frustration over this problem. It’s doing them no good keeping it bottled up inside.

PPiDrive made some interesting remarks here a few days ago suggesting that the problem is not with Forza or T10 but with Microsoft and their largely experimental cloud technology.
Having a bit of a Issue with my Game ever since i have had this game it has been fine until i went to play it the other day and Says (Syncing Data for Forza Horizon 2…) But it will do this for like 1hour and even when the Percentage Goes to 100% it just sits there :S I have Deleted the Game Reinstalled it and Deleted Xbox One Cache. Anyone else have this ISSUE? Hope someone can help Thanks.
Yes, others have this issue - it’s actually pretty common. The consensus among the guys on the forum is to let it sync for as long as it takes which can be several hours - a very long time indeed. Even while it shows syncing at 100% leave it alone until it finishes.
If you interrupt the syncing before it has finished there is the risk of another very common problem which is the loss/corruption of your game save which is very annoying if you’re a long way into the game.
Be patient and find something else to do while it syncs.

Starting the game and one minute later get a message: Your saved datas cant be loaded,try again or use offline"
Its trying to sync,but after 10 seconds the same msg appears again…
