Forza Garage Week 6 - Forza Edition Cars + VIP list

That is exactly the reason why I pre-ordered the physical ultimate edition as well. The VIP pack has ALWAYS been exclusive cars for anyone who owned the pack. Between this and only allowing those with digital pre-orders the Hoonigan DLC (which isn’t as big a deal to me as I game share with someone who pre-ordered digitally.) It’s getting harder to maintain faith in T10 and Forza.

Wow…

Are they trying to win the prize for worst and least information announced at Gamescom?

The cars in the VIP pack are literally just cars we had in the last game? Seems like a waste of money then.

Doesn’t look like anyone at Gamescom is doing anything more than posturing. The Project Cars 2 “trailer” is just a couple minutes of random footage put to music. EA’s big thing was a car on a ramp. It is fun to see this place light up like Christmas. So much drama. So many tears.

You can add, say, 2017 and 2018 cars after release if you aren’t done yet. In fact, nothing forbids you from adding the cars you felt that should have been in the game even later still. Like Toyota, when they’re ready.

Believe it or not, you can even add cars upon cars all the way until Forza 8 comes out. It’s not like Forza Horizon 4 won’t need them, right? You can add tracks too, for that matter.

Now go forth, and laser dem cars like The Empire Strikes Back!

And you know what? That one trailer of Pcars has got me more interested in pcars 2 than anything I have seen or read about forza 7. And atleast the main focus of their trailer was cars and racing and not staring at a woman’s crotch…

The NFS trailer had a new car and a new feature.
Armored cars called “Rhino”, and Mercury Cougar would have made fans of the NFS pleasing.

But Forza is more amazing.
They finally developed a time machine! We have achieved time travel to E3!

Not sure how old you are but the “Rhino” is not a new feature, it was in 2005s NFS: Most Wanted all the way up to NFS: World. The only difference is they changed the model to be more like a GTA 5 Police RIOT armoured van which looks awesome to be honest :). Payback does look like a fun game.

^ Exactly. It’s painted black with forza aero parts on it. This is getting beyond a joke and we need to speak up about it louder and harder.

I also know that.
It was featured for “NFS Payback” the first time in the video.

What a terrible, terrible reveal. During gamescom as well! 6 cars that nobody wants to help pad the list out…almost glad they didn’t include the full 33 from FH3.

Talk about an asbolute insult…especially when this is basically a “VIP car pack” reveal spoiler + 1 extra…yuck.

For shame T10. Next week needs to be 200 cars strong or 150 of the best ever otherwise this is getting cancelled by me.

Plus LOL FORZA AERO kits are back! And they look rubbish…

WHY can’t they do something like THIS for the Forza Edition Ford GT?

VIP and preorder really isn’t worth it again this time . ill just buy the standard in September. Kinda bummed about this as I never use the forza edition cars anyway.

Forza aero looks bad, but that looks even worse. Camber and bolt on fenders? Way to ruin a car, especially a car like that.

Well…if you are going a ruin it, ruin it properly I say :P. I think it looks great, not my cup of tea but to be honest I was more so making the point that this is the “sort of thing” i’d expect from special edition cars, for example, the forza edition cars should be HOONIGAN versions instead, I actually think that would be even better. It would make the incentive to win these bespoke, one off special hand built tuned and modified crazy driving machines (or not so crazy…) an absolute pleasure to win and well worth the effort.

Remember back in the day when the bonus cars or prize vehicle unlocks were these mad ol’ things that made the regular versions look a bit average? That’s the sort of thing i want to see, none of this “pre tuned by t10 and painted a colour with forza aero” but something mad, exciting, sharp and wild to the eyes and ears!

“In Forza Motorsport 7, Forza Edition cars will be immediately recognizable on the track. Whether they’re sporting custom widebody kits and wheels or gorgeous liveries, Forza Edition cars will always stand out from the crowd.”

So by “custom widebody kits” do they mean genetic aero spoiler and front splitter, like the shown Ford GT?

Yep :P.

Nothing like what we should get, which is something like this:

Yeah, i love how their post talks about it … “look how amazing this custom super amazing HORIZON EDITION ford gt looks”… any person who has every played forza is like… “wow… it is just a ford gt, painted black with basic upgrades. Am i really supposed to be excited about this? hahaha!”

Wow. We all just got trolled. I’m still saving judgement in regards to the rest of the cars for the final reveal… But really? Slapping aero on a regular car and calling it a VIP car? It doesn’t take Sherlock Holmes to see how few ***** were given here for the VIP pack.

Wow… this is weak… we are supposed to get excited over this? Are you kidding me?
Think I might cancel that ultimate edition and just buy the regular one, typical T10 not
caring about it’s customers or community…

Well, I’m not usually the one to pass early judgement, or say “you lost my business”… But seeing the VIP reveal, and the serious lack of marketing on this game. It really makes me wonder what is truly going on. Like someone else said. Do they even want to “sell” this game? or are they just expecting people to buy it… just because… Normally by now, I’d have the ultimate edition pre-ordered and just waiting for it to come rolling in… I was actually about to pre-order the ultimate version yesterday and now I’ve finally decided… I’m getting the base game… for the first time in the franchise history… Not even sure if the VIP, or car packs are really worth it any more. So, there’s 40+ bucks out of my pocket that turn10 isn’t getting. In a way, I feel relieved… sucks to be turn 10 though, because I’m sure I’m not the only one. Especially with the competition now catching up (PC2, Crew2, GT sport) etc… All of those games look just as good have quite a bit of new features / interest. All Turn10 has going for them is basically # of cars, if 1 of those games “shines” in 1 way or another… that spells some serious trouble. To be honest, I’ll be throwing that extra 40 bucks I’m saving at either PC2 or Crew2 pre-order.
