I think special edition cars are cool, but after 4 current gen games Turn 10 still has no idea we hate the crappy generic aero, seriously change it already

Are you actually kidding Turn 10? A vip pack wasted on pathetic Horizon edition cars! THIS IS NOT HORIZON! This is Motorsport. Maybe you should put more thought into what you do. Absolute waste of money and my hype has gone. Let’s all hope you make an effort with the DLC. Outraged.

Well I only used to get the VIP for the cars so at least I don’t need that as the Forza/Horizon cars have no interest to me. I guess it means I can pick up the regular physical edition and car pass and save me some money.
Would have liked to have seen some actual cars revealed this week in order to alleviate my fears of losing the BTCC cars. They really haven’t done much so far this week to get me exited, early I know but even the new car and track showcase is nothing new, showing Maple Valley (as much as I don’t care for it) with a new car like the '17 919 or the new old Alfa GP car would have been interesting at least.

5 cars with some upgrades is the VIP pack, turn 10 you are having a laugh. All the other VIP packs for previous games have had new cars, these VIP cars are already in the game .

Also looking at my list, next week should be racecars definitely with hopefully some odd balls thrown in. It just seems odd to improve the physics so 3 wheel cars can work only to scrap them, that’s only if its only racers next week.
Wow, what a thing to wake up to. I was waking up expecting a racecar reveal with the slightest chance of some new ones! But no. What the actual hell is this?
A car? Really.
I’ll probably forget this even exist, and they’ll just be spots wasted in the full car list for something that could’ve been in that place such as the TVR Cerbera Speed 12. Absolute shame, T10.
This kind of thing should’ve been saved for last. They could’ve announced racecars TODAY then that would’ve been fine and good, then they could’ve ended it there. But now we gotta wait ANOTHER week for that!

Will the cars from the VIP Car pack also be available to non-VIP users via #Forzathon, Auction House and Single Player Campaign?
The article doesn’t state that they are exclusive.

The way T10 are going at the moment, I’d be very surprised if non-VIPs couldn’t just get them in campaign anyway. Also I second your point about the BTCC, was very excited for future Forzas off the back of having a few current cars in FM6.

That is a good question that I hope gets answered.
Since these are tied to a car pack, it would be nice if they remain exclusive to VIPs. I wonder if the bonuses they offer are will be greater than non-vip FE cars?

Seriously? I bought ultimate edition for those cars with crappy aero design? At least do special aero or color on those cars? Is that so hard? I just don’t get it. No new cars at all, just adding up FH3 and FM6. [Mod Edit - Hieronymus (Profanity removed)]

I understand your disappointment.
However, this is what could potentially happen when one orders content sight-unseen.
It is always better to order as late as possible, when the majority of product information is out there.
I am not saying that what any of you done is “bad”, but just making you aware that it is better to “know what you’re buying” ahead of time.
Regardless I’m sure there’s enough content elsewhere in the game to make your experience enjoyable.

But due to my experience ordering the FH2, FM6, FH3, they at least provide unique cars or exclusive benefits in game, not like this one, using some pre-tuned cars to troll people.

This is exactly what I don’t understand.
FH3/ FM6 and FH3 each did weekly reveals with NEW cars in them, there was a catagory, followed by a “star, new to forza” car that made each week more interesting and it was good.
However this time…it’s the complete opposite, in trying to make hype, they are creating frustration and sometimes anger at leaving the so called “best” or “new cars/best” to last.
Why? This simply doesn’t work with marketing you need a hook each week. So far each week has been “seen it…seen it…seen it…” and it’s been boring…really boring minus the far few select returning FM4 cars, the 1 new track and Hoonigan pack, the rest of FM7s reaveal so far has been a huge let down when PCARS 2 has DOUBLE the locations and tracks (so did PCARS 1 actually…lol).
It’s just…I am confused, really confused at all these decisions they make no sense from what we expect of T10.
Besides the Hoonigan car pack which to be fair looks/is amazing and the new Hoonigan UTE coming to FM7 too (plus the rest of the FH3 Hoonigan car pack minus the blazer) so far, we have had 1. ONEEEEEEE new car to FM7 lol xD. And ONE new track. Absolutely astonishing.

That is true, this is rather unusual given Microsoft’s history with Forza.
Oh well, I guess you’ll remember this when a hypothetical Forza Horizon 4 gets revealed next June.
