Forza Apex crashes to desktop

Hi,

I’ve played Forza Apex on my new build and everything seemed to work fine. Played it through without hassle (did have the stutter after a couple of races). Today I played 2 of the 4 showcases available to me. When I wanted to start the 3rd one, game crashed to desktop without any error warning. From then on, I can only see the startup intro and it crashes right back to desktop. Tried restarting pc to no avail. Then I deleted the game and redownloaded: same thing. I just don’t seem to be able to start it anymore. It puzzles me, because nothing changed, and everything else is working without a glitch. Seems to be Forza-specific. Can anybody help me out please? Thanks in advance

PC-specs are OK: 6700k, 16Gb ddrr4, gtx 970, samsung 850 evo 500gb

There’s a specific bug with the AMG GTS challenge. You can fix it by lunching the game from the Windows Store.

Yeah, I saw the GTS thread after I posted here, didn’t realise it had to do with the GTS. But opening from the windows store didn’t help. Out of the 10 tries, I only got it running once. I did have an update to the game of 78mb I believe. I hoped it would fix the issue, but it didn’t, sadly enough.
