It’s all about the money. And as long as we get great cars I’m ok with that.
Do these partnerships really have anything to do with the companies in question? Most packs that come out im left scratching my head why they’d be included in the pack for the said company. One or two of the cars fit while the others dont. Also im sure i read or seen an interview with Dan that the DLC gets put out whenever the cars are finished so these packs are not pre determined more cars are put out when they are done.
They are predetermined to the point that they would have decided a few months back that these 10 cars are the July pack and they need to work on them so they all are completed in June. When, why and what Hot Wheels involvement is we are not privy to.
because Hot wheels have some amazing cars in the collection and if they get rites to some cars from this we can get some great cars
For those thinking they only sponcered the car pack turn 10 said we will get more info about there partnership in the coming weeks. That’s means there is something more to it.
I think any partnership between T10 and others benefits us as players!
For all the reasons stated above, Hot Wheels and Forza can be a perfect match for cross-marketing. Both companies are in the business of making car fans out of people so why not?
For the people worried about fictional cars in the game, keep in mind GT has some pretty ridiculous concept cars in it now, lots of Hot Wheels are just that too- crazy concepts with a base in reality, no matter how small. Then there are the shark cars… But I digress.
I don’t see Forza ever having fantasy cars in Motorsports, but darn it, I want to drive TwinMill in Horizon!
Hot Wheels make models PORSCHE.
I wish I never got rid of my collection.
I mean mine were getting crusty, windows scratchy and gray, wheels missing, NONE of them roll in a straight line…
But this all reminds me of them so much. Matchbox, imo were always better, but growing up, can’t remember why, the good ones were hard to get. I had a mix.
Good look getting this sponsor, huge.
Matchbox were far better quality. The wheels on them were so smooth compared to Hot Wheels .
Yep!
I could be wrong on this, but didn’t Hot Wheels go plastic, or at least try to at one point?
Poor kids. Plastic toys.
-As I got a little older, the cars I loved were the medium sized ones that you pulled back and let go to race.
-I know I always hated the Hot Wheels tracks, they never worked at all, they were flimsy and you had no control over the race.
-And DIY model cars were the most amazing thing. Again mine were crusty with cement glue and broken pieces, but aw man, I guess I was always into cars/games.
Again, good move T10, if only for the memories.
Got my butt whipped with hot wheels track when i was little, anyone else? I learned to hide them, lol.
I think any partnership that adds diversity and variety to this game is fantastic! Heck, if T10 partners with Nintendo, and gives us a Mario Kart Track Pack, I’ll buy it.
I think it’s a great partnership and I have to say that I would love it if one of the great painters in Forza came up with Hotwheels Snake and Mongoose paints for the Cuda. That would be just Awesome!
A few weeks back I made a thread asking if they could add a Jeep Wrangler and some replies were “what fun would that be?”
I would like to say ok but what about a van?
I would take a Jeep over this packs Van any day of the week.

But i’m left wondering how we could possibly could benefit from this?
Who says it has anything to do with the players? Their partnership could be a strictly financial move.
I collect hot wheels and enjoi doing replicas on forza. Working on a sick 66 nova now
