Rough Translation:
I do not know what you think of it, but already after buying force 7, I’ve been soooooooooo disappointed for the following reasons:
You can not buy a game that costs € 70 and then go home and keep one under the internet for a whole day (so many things are useless as the many racing suits …)
700 cars van well, I expected to find cars like the Fiat type, the opel (or vauxhall that is the British brand) calibrates, some cars in rally or racing version (as the 1996 Alfa 125 ITC), the cars running in the street (the citroen c1, c2, c3, the toyota yaris, etc. …). Instead of taking off many very popular cars (the supra and the Celica), they put cars that do not hit anything on the track, they put a truck, three f1 for each period and a recent F1 … … many vehicles put there only by number.
Guidability very often left to be desired (the f1 of the 70s were not easy to drive, in force 7 are very easy)
Graphically a step back has been taken
Driving in the wet little real (with the dry tires, a 800 horsepower with the accelerator to the rod do the circles)
With Forza7 I expected more from the editors for the body (perhaps the ability to customize the car on a model in 2d)
Non-existent and not real damages (buffering a car with a distance of 60-70 km \ h will not only damage the brakes) …
Precise that game at the pro level, 0 driving aids and driving aids only when braking (given that in force7 the asphalt is uniform) at least from the point of view of the passenger compartment.
TL/DR - cant do much online. Too many useless cars, car characteristics not right, graphics worse, wet driving unrealistic, bad damage model.
While I do agree that FM6 did many things better - 7 is unquestionably a better game. Sure, it’s got plenty of rough edges that I’m sure the devs will work hard to iron out, especially with a new creative director at the helm.
If they do sort out all the issues in 7 though, it can easily surpass 6. At the moment, I’m putting in more time in 7 because it’s got better physics. More realistic IMO.
New creative director? Is he/she the one responsible for some of the changes in the last patch like the stupid distance in feet display above drivers, and making the dirty lap indicator half invisible? That’s the sort of hard work we can do with less of.
He explained in a stream that the new labels above opponents have been developed for the upcoming Forza Race Regulation system. These new labels will be used to display the penalties that other players have.
Regarding the dirty lap indicator, he did not specifically comment on that, but I guess they made it smaller because when the FRR system is launched, the dirty lap info will become less relevant, the more relevant info will be the penalty time and the severity level meter (which they showed during the stream).
Not just smaller, but grey on grey rather than white on black. It’s still important and will continue to be. It’s always one step forward, two steps back with this crowd.
The distance indicator is flat out stupid, no race series in the world, or any other racing game AFAIK, uses distance rather than time. Even the old Forza Motorsports, and current Forza Horizons, use time. So any ‘serious’ system which they are allegedly adopting, which uses distance, stalls right at the starting line doesn’t it.
They need to get someone in who knows about racing. Because apparently at the moment they’re making it up as they go along.
You didn’t get the point.
The distance information itself has nothing to do with the upcoming penalty system.
The new label, which is currently used to display the distance, is a provisioned space on the HUD, that will be used to display the time penalties of the other players when the regulation system is launched.
I’d like to know who the brain dead person was that thought that showing people who drop out of the game in a graphic right in the center of screen directly in your line of vision in Forza 6 was a good idea.
Fake car clubs, BS leaderboards that are only seen afte a race, game will lag you out when picking a car. 4 was the best vs this trash. Only thing good is the newer cars rest is trash, besides headlights and weather.
Theres a lot to be desired. No ghost to see if your launch is better vs previous ET drag times. F4 is and was better than F5,6, and 7. Lame drag tracks with no grip. Can’t do a public lobby 4 car shows or drag 4 every 1 to see and come not just your friends list. Can’t make $ selling tunes. This is F4 with all gas 4 tunes. Took me 5 mins to get in the top 1% for P drag. Just got the game in late Nov. Was told it’s lame vs the best one made. 99% of my friends list who play feel the same way. They mixed Horizon with it and it sucks. More 4 kids and them getting $. Anyone can be fast with a All gas tune. There’s no real separation between a good tuner and kid. Again top 1% with a 5 min tune I made not bought.
You’ve been driving since when …I have more Hrs on 1 Forza game than you do on any or all your Forza games combined. 1500+ just for 1 Forza edition game. BTW #205 World Drag Layout 1 no Clutch slip same game. 5min tune on 7 placed me in the Top 1 % … Weak!
Loved Forza 6, but I think Forza 7 is a massively superior game. Car list is bigger – though lacking the Bentley Speed 8 is a huge sin, rain is more realistic and progressive as in FM 6 there was only “dry” and “Noah’s Ark”, it’s better to play in both controller and wheel, more tracks as well – though this new version of Maple Valley is just plain bad. Of course there are many flaws as stated, mainly multiplayer (friends + bots… obvious thing), but the flaws are much less frustrating than Forza 6’s flaws. There is still a long way to go, but given the last update, I’m hopeful this ends being an opinion shared by more and more people over time.
Right out of the box, Forza 7 had better FFB than Forza 6. Once my wheel was set up correctly, it was night and day and I deleted FM6. And yes, I’ve played many other driving “sims” and games including the F1 series, PC1, PC2, Raceroom, and Dirt Rally.
