Can you name anything in Forza 7 that is better than Forza 6?

Aside from the superb car content & return of Maple Valley,Mugello & Suzuka what is better about Forza 7?
Graphics on Xbox are a downgrade & the lighting is to dark on most tracks.
Handling feels the same as Forza 6.
The Youtube clips of multiplayer are so embarassing with crashers I have not bothered trying. No improvement in that area.
No Storefront
No car clubs
No leaderboards.
No AI in multiplayer.
No ability to choose cars to race against.

It is pretty sad that had the cars & tracks been added to Forza 6 or Forza 4 it would be a better game.

It almost sounds like you’re asking, ‘what’s better, apart from all the things that are better?’ The general behaviour in multiplayer is different, I think, because Forza 7 is a newer gamer. Lots more inexperienced, short-term players. Casuals, dare I say. With time the casual players move on, leaving behind only those who like to play properly. Forza 6 has the age, Forza 7 doesn’t. Give it time!
There are definitely other areas where this game can improve but Turn 10 has acknowledged that with every update.
Other good things? No physics-altering mods, no tokens, dynamic weather and everything that used to be DLC (Porsche, NASCAR, certain tracks) are included in the package from the start.

FM7 is better than FM6 because I’d rather play it given the choice. The other day I went back and spent about 80 million CR on cars I wasn’t going to drive in FM6. In 7 you feel a sense of achievement when you level up your driver and car collection levels.

Edit: Probably best to have a nice cup of tea and a slice of cake and not dwell on it

I didn’t have to go out and buy an Xbox One to play FM7, where as I would if I wanted to play FM6 so I’ve saved £300 by not buying FM6 ;0)

Free play is better, not perfect but much better.

The rain/dynamic weather is better. I did not like constant rain and giant puddles on the track.

Once the track loads you can still pick cars, build and tune them without having to back out of the race.

Auction house is back, mostly. Better than a poke in the eye.

Homologation is a mixed bag but it works really well for R class and above.

Edit: Being able to change the length of career races and the arrows that point to nearby cars.

I agree with the improvements you mention but they are incremental & auction house was in previous versions.

The career mode progression is better, and this time I actually want to go do every championship as opposed to Forza 6 where it’s only fun the first time through but then you have to do every championship again for each discipline to 100%.

The car and track lists are slightly better in 7 than in 6.

I like how you can make adjustments (like difficulty, assists, cars, mods, etc.) in the loading screens.

Mods are a double edged sword. If you really think about it, you get them the same way as in Forza 6. I like that they’ve eliminated mods that affect car performance. I have mixed feelings about how overpowered mods can be in 7 though. It’s good for making money but it feels a bit cheaty at times.

Modern GT is no longer ridiculously unbalanced.

Driver gear was a nice addition.

The Auction House is back. It’s not as good as it was in the 360 games but at least it’s there.

Widebodies… the only thing where fm7 is better than fm6, at the moment

All right, but apart from the sanitation, the medicine, education, wine, public order, irrigation, roads, a fresh water system, and public health, what have the Romans ever done for us?

Weather is better (dynamic, more graduated and less exaggerated)
Nascar / Porsche / Racing truck don’t need extension/dlc buying
Mugello & Suzuka
Homologation système (yes, I like it)
Auction house comeback
Xbox Play Anywhere

You say “No car clubs”… But they weren’t any car clubs in Forza 5/6/7, so this isn’t an element of comparaison between FM6 and 7.

True, but they were in Forza horizon 3.

T10 is basically saying clubs make sense in horizon but not motorsport. I don’t get it.

T10 will continue to and rightly should be bashed for this absolutely idiotic decision. There’s nothing logical or smart about excluding clubs in any motorsport title for the Xbox one era.

T10 will not be bashed for that, enough other dumb desiscions we can bash them for. Clubs, it is on one hand more logic in Horizon as that is street game and look to the youth groups on the parkinglot of you local McDonalds or what is there in your country. But on the other hand looked to FM4 where you had Team Leaderboards, that was very awesome to have in FM.

I’m pretty sure they used that logic that it only fit in horizon due to its hang out nature.

Only problem is that in Motorsport, people team up for that same reason too as well as the other big reason…the competitive side of things as you mentioned.

Whoever at T10 decides that this feature wasn’t needed in the both titles is a complete moron and should be demoted in favor of someone who gets it like pjtierny (sorry if I misspelled the gamertag)!!! Lol.

Dash view.

^ True story. I also like the homologation. Granted, it doesn’t allow you to balls out a car and race, but it definitely makes for better races.
