My friends and I typically play a lot of private multiplayer games. The pinnacle of development was reached in Forza 4. So here with are with Forza 6 and good lord the whole experience is dumbed down compared to two versions back… Forza 4!
Here are a few of the issues:
Only 5 bots/drivatars are added to the lobby for each human competitor? If I want 2 or 3 human players and 24 bots, why can’t I do this?
I can’t adjust/change the bot/drivatars aggressiveness/skill level/vehicle individually? Dumb. If I want several expert drivers, several hard drivers and several beginning drivers? Why not?
The 5 bots/drivatars that show up with each invited human (see above) don’t typically change their cars when the lobby rules change to different car classes. I can find no way to force them to change vehicles.
There isn’t a SAVE setup option to keep the same game option settings from session to session.
When setting up a team game, the score isn’t kept from race to race. I don’t even see the point of a team game anymore.
The race results screen is buried under a sub menu, it should be the default screen after completing a race to show lap times, finish times and placement. Just another dumb change.
Scores/points aren’t kept from race to race, and even if they were they’d probably be buried on a sub menu.
Maybe the solution would be to keep the graphics of forza 6 but roll back the multiplayer private options to exactly what Forza 4 offered.
