As we host a series of replica racing events, we started last night with our first round of BTCC around Brands Hatch.
But due to the lack of options/Settings in the ingame options we couldn’t keep at our current format, which is
1st.
qualifying 15min, compared best lap, no collisions, simulation damage, random grid, global touring division.
- random grid settings didn’t save when exiting the game options!!
2nd
Race 1: 16 laps, full collision, simulation damage, grid lobby points order decending (not an option) according to qualify
- again grid order option not available/not saving, only thing that works atm is PI grid order (ascending or decending)
3rd
Race 2: 16 laps RAIN, full collision, simulation damage, grid lobby points order decending (not an option) according to qualify+race1
- again grid order option not available/not saving, only thing that works atm is PI grid order (ascending or decending)
4th
Race 3: 16 laps, full collision, simulation damage, reversed grid lobby points order ascending (not an option) according to qualify+race1
- again grid order option not available/not saving, only thing that works atm is PI grid order (ascending or decending)
So due to lack of game option in private lobbies, (that were in previous forza motorsport titles) this whole league racing is completely screwed.
Last night we did our 3 races, but with Performance Index grid ordering.
And not to speak of the chat issues, only hearing certain people and only some that hear the host, it makes it very hard to explane rules and such. Even when there’s a massive pile-up on turn 1, its tough to restart the race, not everyone can here the host calling out the back out to lobby again.
And when racing close to eachother its a hit or mis if you tell people you’re on the inside/left/right if those people can’t hear you. And vice versa.
