2 hrs ago i called my girlfriend from work cause i couldnt wait anymore and told her to start my xbox and delete Forza Motorsport 7 and the go to the store and install it again.
Now I’m unfortunately a little bit earlier at home and happy too, cause now i see that its still in progress downloading it.
A few minutes ago i tried the same on my computer.
First there was a windows update, then i deleted FM7 and all its components from my PC and went straight to the store and clicked on install.
Hoonigan Car Pack and Day One Car pack are already installed now, the game itself is in progress and VIP is in waiting list.
The Car Pass can not be installed, or hasnt. I dont know.
But seems like all is fine now.
Hope there are no more issues again, and that it works for all of you tonight 0:00…
I’m restarting my download for the 4th time this morning, after an update to Windows 10. There’s also Hoonigan Car Pack being downloaded as well where it’s not there on my previous failed download attempts. I wouldn’t know how it fares since my Internet is around 10-18 Mbps and I left my PC on back at my place. So let’s see it tonight.
on xbox i go to my apps and games, to the game icon, press the options button and go to deinstall.
On PC you can delete it from the store, or you press windows key+i and then on system, then on storage, there you have all your folders and installed things, you can delete it from here.

if my mail and calendar also updated successfully, does that mean its fixed and i can download FM7 no worries? Apparently i checked my net provided usages and i wasted 50gbs of download last night before i got the error, i dont want to waste it again.
Honestly, I have my hopes set real low but im at 38GB. Maybe this is the chose one?
Who needs march madness when you can live all this windows store download drama? All this heartbreak and the occasional Cinderella story of a successful download… it would be beautiful if weren’t making me skull crushingly frustrated.

Startet it this morning and now it is on 7%.

Yeah. Possibly fixed. I left my PC on all night with the download failing as per usual. Cancelled the download, checked for updates (none available) and restarted the download.
It’s still going as of now. 70.06 GB downloaded so far. I’m too afraid to pause the download though so I’m gonna keep that running and keep people off the router with pitchforks.
My Mail and Calendar app successfully updated late last night. I tried the game first thing this morning and it still errored out near the start. A different error about access but still an error.
Nothing has been fixed and nothing will be fixed. If you read the sticky they are saying to leave it until the game unlocks, then you can download the full game. At least that’s what they hope, they offer no real info (surprise) so there are no guarantees.
Even if it does work that’s the first day of early access gone (at least) at a time when we’ve paid to be playing the game.
Thats really annoying.
My girl comes home soon so i hope when she calls me she has good news with download progress…
Its sad to hear they wanna let us wait till preorder release date.
All people with slow internet loosing a day or more of playing. And its only 3 days earlier then all others!
So in worst cases a lot of people only have 1 day or a few hours earlier access then the regular version, but paid a lot more. And even this is not guaranteed…
If its not running well till release at 0:00 its even more worse.

I just got to almost 50GB of 95GB and it then restarts for no reason like WTF. Seriously… they need to fix this, as I’d like to be playing it first thing tomorrow if I wanted to
its probably due to creators update 1703 being really buggy. might have to wait for 1709 which has been delayed until next month. mine fails every time about 2-3gb into download. 512gb samsung 950 nvme with 80meg fibre broadband.
Lol no, it failed for me just then, absolute joke next time t10 just go with steam, they know how to actually release a game
And if I don’t get to Play the game on the early access days considering it takes me 21 hours to install 95 gb so that’s already a day I’m missing out on, something I paid for , then I expect some sort of refund back , I am not paying for something I’m not getting

I had preloaded the game. At 12:00am which is the unlock time for my region. it said wait till its time. After 5 minutes i started again this time the game started but i got error. You have reached download limit of your device, remove. Then I click on My devices and I only see 1 device my pc nothing else. Still it gives the same error.
right maybe i got lucky, but last night, i tried again, before i went to sleep, got the error.
did the wsreset through the start Run thing.
retried, and went to sleep, woke up this morning to it being done. I didnt install the ultimate though, i only installed FM7 the game, and then manually installed the add-ons. It seems to have installed fine, but have yet to try it. Maybe tonight when im home. Hope it works for you guys, and i hope that this isnt all a ruse and it doesnt work at all.
PS im not sure if this is also the reason, but here in AUS the game released at midnight, so the game was officially released before i tried to download it. Because i found this in another post and didnt want to waste another 100GB download.
