I’ve just pre-ordered FM7 Ultimate on PC through Windows Store app on W10, and placeholders have been installed for the game, Day One pack, and Pre-Order bonus, but the VIP Pack is showing an error when downloading. Anyone else having this issue?

Yep same happening here… it will try every time Windows 10 starts up and possibly a few extra times a day…

Open up the store, press the x to stop the download and it won’t happen again. Worked for me, will work for you.

Same here. But it downloaded on my Xbox One S just fine.
have the same issue and try after 75 gb download error a new download.
try to solve this issue with the following methods :
press win+r and type wsreset in the window press enter and wait 2 to 5 minutes then the store maybe restarts with cleared cache and try to restart the download.
start cmd as admin again and type the following
PowerShell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted -Command “& {$manifest = (Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.WindowsStore).InstallLocation + ‘\AppxManifest.xml’ ; Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $manifest}”

Having this problem too, the windows store is the biggest pile of shit I’ve ever been forced to use.

This is the error I’m getting.
Trying to download this is a pain in the butt. I downloaded 7gb only for it to error and the download restarted from 0.
Several are having this problem, I downloaded up to 59gb and it started over. This has happened 3 times now, but it seems they are aware of the problem atleast. At this rate though, not sure if im going to make to launch day 29th
This has happened to me as well multiple times on my PC. The first time it got all the way to 95gb and restarted (took 19 hours or so). I then got an error at 2gb then at 8gb. After that it won’t install at all and gives an error. I give up. I may have to get a refund on this if I can’t download the game. Don’t want to take the chance of being out 150 dollars. Never had a problem with Horizon 3. I really need some help here.
Have the same issue, don’t want to refund but looks like i’ll have to maybe microsoft should put their games on a more stable platform like steam.

They really need to implement a backup and restore system like on steam. Would make things so much easier.
I completely agree but even that is useless unless you can download the entire game in the first place (it took Steam years to add a backup feature as well). More useful would be a stable and reliable Resume feature and some kind of Validate Files option so you can check files for corruption or as a way of resuming broken downloads.
You’d think these options would already be included as mandatory seeing as Steam, Origin and UPlay have had them for years but I’m astounded that they haven’t. The lack of these coupled with the encryption and hidden/inaccessible folders the Store uses, which relies on very specific security permissions, is the reason why it is such a disaster when it comes to downloading anything larger than your average smartphone app and game IMO.
So after my forth attempt, Im stopping, this is ridiculous. I get to about half or more then it stops, and what is it doing to my ssd. The download is taking up space on it, but does not show a dang thing has been downloaded. First experience with Microsoft store and i hate it hate it hate it!!!
