SEBRING RETURNS TO MOTORSPORT

  • Sebring International Raceway, one of the oldest operating racetracks in the United States, returns to Forza Motorsport to test players with rough, bumpy, and changing surfaces. All throughout Endurance Month (and thereafter), drivers are invited to master its challenging track layouts – the 3.74-mile Full Circuit and 2-mile Short Circuit! This addition is free for all players.

LAGUNA SECA AND NORDSCHLEIFE UPDATES

  • The pitlane exit at Laguna Seca has been updated to match its authentic location in the real world (the top request in FM Environment suggestions) and we have fixed corrupt ambient occlusion on some track areas.
  • In addition, we have adjusted the curbing at the Nürburgring Nordschleife for 2024 accuracy, removed some of the flags across the track and added speaker poles throughout.
  • To accommodate these changes, leaderboards for Laguna Seca Full Circuit, Nürburgring Nordschleife and Nürburgring Nordschleife Full Circuit have been reset.

FEATURE CHANGES

  • Permanently adding 30-minute-long races to the event rotation within both the Forza Touring Car and Forza GT Series in Featured Multiplayer. Going forward, the length of these evergreen Spec Series will cycle between ‘Short,’ ‘Medium’ and the new ‘Long’ races.
  • The Nürburgring Nordschleife and Full Circuit layouts have also been included in the event rotation for Long races in Featured Multiplayer.
  • Adjusted Practice lengths across all Featured Multiplayer Series to increase event cadence and frequency. This change results in shorter practice lengths.
  • Reduced Featured Multiplayer event Join countdown limit from 5 minutes to 2 minutes. (June 11th)
  • Thumbnail for the Forza P3 car division added to the Free Play Advanced Event Setup menu.
  • Updated the existing Mobil 1 decal in the Livery Editor and have added 3 new decal variants.
  • Adjusted manufacturer paint for both 1965 Shelby Cobra 427 S/C and 1965 Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupé to the correct “Guardsman blue” metallic paint.

We’ve added new suits to the Driver customization menu.

  • The Rainbow suit will be available to everyone who plays Forza Motorsport in June.
  • A new Bridgestone suit can be earned by participating in the upcoming Bridgestone Rivals event.
  • The Porsche Racing Suit is available from the Porsche 963 Combo DLC.

GAME FIXES AND RELEASE NOTES

The content update is available after 10am PT on June 10, 2024. In addition to its new endurance-themed content, this update introduces some minor fixes to Forza Motorsport. The list of changes in this version is lighter compared to previous releases as we work towards additional improvements to release during the summer.

In the meantime, we wanted to let you know that we are looking into an issue where shift times can be slightly different based on your monitor refresh rate and PC framerate. The community has provided useful data to help us investigate this problem, and we expect to have it resolved in an upcoming release. In the future, PC players will also receive an option to disable TAA and an updated VRAM estimator. Stay tuned for details on when these updates roll out into the game.

Also, we continue to investigate a bug where many existing and shared livery designs inadvertently appear with matte decals following the addition of the Vinyl Material feature in the previous update. Work on this fix remains ongoing and we will let you know once it’s ready to be released.

Once updated the new game version number is *.604.3091.0

If you experience any issues with the content update installation we recommend that you quit out of your game and restart your device. If this does not solve the issue please report it in FM Report New Issues. Any game crashing issues should be reported directly at Forza Support so the team can investigate your account.

I hope endurance racing make a great return.
The overview will be 4 minutes & 58 seconds it seems (maybe).

How did you guess that the length of the endurance race will be 4 minutes & 58 seconds :joy:

No, i mean the video @Lens007888 . I don’t even know what is the content. :smiling_face_with_tear:

Also i think that Duqueine 08 will come, but it’s just a guess. Someone said it was leaked in FH5 files. Let’s see if it’s true.

The AI are appalling. Any dev from 20 years ago would look at the way this AI works and dismiss you people as developers. They absolutely still brake on straights and magnetize to the racing line. Ive been racing at the back of the pack lately just to see if it makes racing a bit more interesting and engaging instead of chasing the back of 1st and 2nd for the 700th time. Way worse experience. You can be passing in a straight line and the AI brake checks you right before the overtake. Getting run off the road because you’re 3 feet off the main racing line they all travel on like slot cars. Its disrespectful to call this video game design.

i think itll be too soon to introduce endurance races, those will probably come in october or november. I’m just hoping for something different, this game is getting bland doing the same thing over and over for single player. we need more content

Be prepared for the endurance racing this month.

I like to see endurance races in general. And my transit van but I think the latter is highly unlikely.

I just hope this is the update where we finally get some new LMH/LMDh cars. Either way, bring on the new track, endurance racing and other such things in between.

I’m betting $100 they didn’t fix anything or add a new feature.

And if they DID add endurance racing, the practice time will be 2 hours long for a 30-40 minute race.

I dunno man I’m pretty bored of practicing 30 minutes for a 7 minute race.

I think we either get 919 (2015) or Duqueine D-08 or both.

Since when it comes to be endurance multi class racing with Sports Prototypes & GT Cars.
We had new LMH/LMDh & GT race cars, in between them there are such things.

New upcoming track. No doubt it’s Se12ing guys! This logo founded in files and I thought this is a leftover from FM7. But this logo different than all previous titles. So say hello to Seb12ing! But Idk why but this logo looks so low quality. Maybe they gonna fix in this update? Maybe this is a beta logo?

This is my major concern.

The AI has to be properly good to be worth racing against over an extended distance.

The shorter distances so far have worked to mask how poor they are, and not even that well.

I already send it. :slightly_smiling_face:
But why sebring is not in the thumbnail

And I sent colorful one too

I thought that too and maybe Sebring not ready in that moment? Also a white logo is not for the game. Both logo has lower quality for game. They’re gonna fix I’m sure. They’re probably beta logos.

The implementation of endurance racing will be interesting. So far, we have seen no permanent content or changes at all (bar swapping some tracks) added to the career mode in this game. T10 hasn’t even managed to implement the tyre duration modifier into that part of the game. Will be intriguing to see if endurance racing is the first proper addition or if we get a temporary featured event and some “long” races in multiplayer only.
