Overall solid update by adding longer races and a lovely track and graphics improvements BUT this game has potential to be more alive with a huge player base and much more events and to achieve that you HAVE TO ADD MORE CARS. Just add FH5 cars and watch how player counts will rise up. Just in this month games like crew motorfest or nfs unbound or even fh5 received versions of the new mustang. Even iracing and acc have 7th fen mustang in their games. Or a car like alfa romeo GTAm is perfect for a game like forza motorsport. By adding new and cool cars you will definitely get more players then lobbies will get crowded and overall experience will be much better. I except something special like more than only one track plus like 30 20 cars for tge firs year anniversary of this game. It’s a big chance to clear a huge amount of negativities around this game and have a second start.

The game is getting better and better - I just really want more of my favourite tracks (Mount Panorama, Road Atlanta, Long Beach). It’s personal, though - they’ll either add them or they won’t. However, they’re more likely to add these real tracks than those previously fabricated for the game, so I live in hope!

Endurance is a very welcome addition in the career. Some tweaks might be needed for tire degradation to get the same number of times for tire change. I think my tires went orange way earlier than the drivatars specially in Nordschleife.

B16 is a masterpiece off the box. A car tuned with passion by developers.

In Open Class Tour (OTC), the races were a bit longer than befor but this time the Pi is way higher. The result is the same amount of time spent per race and/or Series. The 25% to 50% increase in distance in this OTC would be nice if implemented in future updates even with lower classes.

Overall, update 9 is right up there with update 5 in terms of fun, pushing me (and some other players) toward different experience like higher Pi cars and longer races.

I look forward to future updates with some 20 and 30 minutes races in OTC and more of the cars with satisfying driving feel like.

LOL no feedback about broken OPEN MULTIPLAYER, why classes are so mixed.
Medium races to open multiplayer please?

About race frequency in multiplayer:
-with short races, 15min it too low to be able to qualify on most tracks when u do race after race.
-with long and endurance races, races are too often, what spreads players too much [theres limited number of players that want to do endurace races]

Short races take about 10 min [including 2min waiting time for this one guy that dont want to finish race
Medium races take about 20min
Long Races Take about 35min
Endurance races take about 1h 10 min.

Lets add time to go trough menu and qualify atleast one lap and we will get race every:
Short 20min
Medium 30min
Long 50min
Endurance 1h 20min

Increase race frequency 2x so that players dont have to spend thier entire life w8 for next race if they skip one, and we got this:

Short race evey 10min
Medium race every 15min
Long race every 25min
Endurace race every 40min

Also every lobby should have uneven number of tracks in rotation, so that if u do race after race u are able to do all tracks in rotation like this:
1>3>5>7>9>11>2>4>6>8>10

For once I actually “did” some Single Player content, for one reason:

  • The Chevron B16 is considered one of the best cars in B and A-Class

I say “did” because while I technically completed it and got the car (and would have liked to get 2 copies of the car for different classes), I turned on all the auto-driving assists and let the game run in the background.

I see no reason personally to race against AI in this or any other game until it can match the performance and dynamism of human opponents.

As for Multiplayer, the first 2 weeks of Endurance were pretty good, my club enjoyed those. Slightly disappointed at the lack of weather variation, limiting strategic depth. Also disappointed that “proper” race finish procedure isn’t in place for races (where drivers can finish x laps down instead of getting a DNF).

I was disappointed that not all car classes featured at least once in Open Series (there was no C-Class), as it limited our choices in what to race.

Cadence between races and reduced practice time is good, though it would still be ideal if people can join their friends while a session is in progress. I often have to drag the entire group out of a room midway through a practice session in order to pull in a late joiner or somebody who has had their game crash.

Sebring is a good addition to the game, though the lack of a pitlane does mean we lose the excellent Club layout from Forza Motorsport 7.

Nurburgring, I didn’t mind the look and feel before. It wasn’t clear which kerbs changed and how/why that necessitated a leaderboard reset. I’m currently #1 on the X Hardcore board, and have been driving even faster than the previous version, so not sure if a leaderboard wipe was needed at all.

Nurburgring Nordschleife should also be in the Short/Medium track rotations, 1 lap for Short, 2 for Medium. When it appeared in Long events the tyre wear rate was too high, forcing drivers to pit every lap.

Rolling starts are needed in multiplayer (especially in higher classes where clutch users can easily stall cars), please add them.

I like that the Porsche 963 DLC was free for the first week, thanks for that.

Sadly, I’m growing tired with this game after Update 9.

On one hand, endurance racing is a must-have for a game centered around motorsport so I’m glad these events were added to the career mode, and they should stay for good (especially that they have glorious intros). On the other hand though, I personally hate driving in circles for 30+ minutes so Nissan R88C is the first reward car I won’t obtain. Especially that I’m totally not impressed with the implementation of endurance racing here, with very clear rubberbanding and tire wear seemingly not applicable to AI…

What’s worse, behaviour of AI somehow feels downgraded when compared to my experience from recent updates. I’m more and more frustrated being rammed constantly and seeing drivatars brake with no reason (or because they are unable to overtake on straights) or go off-road. I’ve also tried racing with expert rules but after one minute of getting unfair penalties for mistakes made by AI (with no option to rewind) I was back to sport rules.

Anyway, on a positive note: I appreciate adding more vintage/retro race cars to the game (especially as forgotten as Chevron B16) and improving existing tracks (although Nordschleife still has some annoying slippery curbs), also longer races in Open Tour are welcomed (but we still should simply have an option to scale race length in the career mode back from FM7). And Sebring looks and feels nice, even if it’s one of my least liked tracks :slight_smile:

As for Update 10, I really hope we’re finally going to see some substantial improvements to AI and FRR with this one.

P.S. 1: Releasing a DLC car so early after the completion of the Car Pass is worrying (especially with a price being so steep).

I enjoyed the SP career this update. The endurance races were a nice touch. I do agree with some that content is too light. More cars need to be added per update to get a feeling of getting your moneys worth. As mentioned above hot cars like the S650 Stang have already been added to other games in haste. I would like to see cars like that added here as well. I thoroughly enjoyed the Porsche 963. Downloaded it while it was free and got to racing with it. But I will say for $4.99 it needs more cars. Hard to justify that price when FH offers larger car packs for the same price. No comment on MP as I don’t bother with it right now. But SP does need more much needed content. Beefing up the Builders Cup in one of these updates would go a long way with the rotating content in game. Also I would recommend providing an additional way for players to earn/receive the rewards cars just incase a player misses one or wants to earn another. Kinda helps reduce the FOMO. But overall not bad.

I’m happy for those who have been itching for some endurance races but this looks like it’s going to be my first tour where reward cars for completion will be missed.

Motorsport already isn’t my favorite of the two games and then asking me to complete 40+ minute races is leaning towards asking too much. Are the reward cars even worth the time spent on all these races??

That’s a very individual question. Personally, the reward cars are just a bonus from enjoying the racing.

If I didn’t enjoy the racing, I wouldn’t waste my time playing the game just to get a reward car.

There’s only 1 reward car for the 6 hours of endurance races and it’s a P class car which tops out at 980PI, so not really a must have unless you really like that type of car. Really only worth doing if you are interested in the races.

The Chevron can be picked up through the Open Tour, with standard length races and I understand that’s a strong car. If you haven’t already, probably worth getting that one.

Nordschleife still needs work, the section (I think it is planzgarten) where you drop before the right hander still is not fierce enough, the drop is non existent and the car never seems to get airborne. Also night lighting needs to be toned down it is just too much.
Adding tourist section would be a good addition aswell as adding sections so we can practice.

It’s a top contender in B and A Featured Multiplayer races. Similar to the Exocet but higher top speed.

It has about a 2 second handicap in Rivals as it needs low fuel in order to be competitive and doesn’t have access to that there.

Tbh its stupid that pi calculation is made on full fuel tank, in s class all old race cars are just too op becouse of that.

PI should be calculated on soft race tyres and 5% fuel, for all cars. Rivals should also be set to 5% fuel instead of 100%, and have 100% track rubber.

That’s not going to change as Turn 10 likely have no intention of rebalancing the entire car roster, so we make do with what’s there, find the flaws, and exploit them for competitiveness.
