Your game version
Your game edition and device (such as Premium or Cloud, Windows/Steam/console (and which console)
Your PC GPU and driver version, framerate settings, Accessibility settings
Account permissions and sharing
Your region and language setting
Where the crash occurs (launching the game, in a particular menu or game mode)
Which car you were using and what you were doing at the time of the crash
Whether this is consistent in the same circumstances or apparently random
Video of the crashing if you can provide it
Confirm that you have attempted to quit/restart your game and whether that cleared the issue.
When posting here, confirm that you have submitted a ticket at Forza Support.

I just had a crash in Forza Motorsport on Xbox Series X while playing career for around 30 minutes. At first it lagged for a moment and after a few seconds it crashed to xbox home screen. I’m not using quick resume. Disappointing

This is a first time and I was shocked because I played many games on Xbox Series X and Xbox One and never had any crash so Forza Motorsport is my first game that crashed
It’s not a crash, but on PC after a Feature Multiplayer race, the game appears to hang for a minute or two before showing the FM lobby selection screen.
I have the same problem, but only for online races. About 90% of the time, Forza Motorsport closes on my XBOX Series X and I’m back at the XBOX Dashboard. Update 8 and 8.1 did not have this problem. It only occurred after I’ve applied update 9.
On xbox series x when I’ve been watching a Sebring replay and i wand to go back into the game as soon as i quit the replay the game crashes and goes back to the Xbox home screen, it has happened several times sice the latest update!
Happens on both platforms and has been an issue since April. I got the bug the day the 8.1 hotfix dropped almost 8 weeks ago and some are now getting it for the first time since update 9
The votes on this forum are a tiny fraction of those that are actually affected by it yet there’s no info coming from the developers on when it will be addressed let alone fixed
FM 8 crashes regularly when I play using XBox Series X and Logitech peripherals. It crashes at least once a session and sometimes won’t even load. I’m on mega broadband so that isn’t the issue.
FM, latest version on Xbox Series X, playing solo: The game consistently crashes after exiting Open Time Attack sessions. It has also crashed occasionally when exiting Career races. Progress gets saved, thankfully, so it’s really just a (major) annoyance. It’s not my system or my internet or my behavior - it’s your game. Please fix it.
