See title. I read this in the in-game messages. What will the devs do now? Add paid car packs like FH5? Offer a new Car Pass every few years? Is there a roadmap for the live service part of the game? What can we expect?
What I would highly request them is to focus on adding tracks, new contents in career mode and of course fixing the car sounds completely. They should definitely take car sound issue as their topmost priority now and fix those with no rush.
Next new old track is two months away and you can watch 2 hours of 2 blokes talking about Taylor Swift and hinting at possibilities that might or might not be added at some stage in the future.
Other than that the roadmap is super sensitive secret and they are not interested in telling us what they are really working on and what that new old track is.
You’ll just have to wait and see @LuculentPigeon8
I think sadly the game is almost dead regarding new cars. This month we will get only two new cars aside the car pass, if I didn’t miss anything.
No new spotlight cars like it seems. Only the two reward cars for the seasonal championships.
And if they are feeling generous and add some new cars they won’t be the most voted for ones
Roadmap? This is a track racing game, there’s no roads here. At least that’s why I presume there’s no roadmap.
@Lens007888 Personally I’d be happy if they just added cars from Horizon. But even that seems to be asking a lot.
When/if Mount Panorama is added there will be one, maybe followed by another if Long Beach makes the list. Never know they might add Pau but that would be such a long shot I doubt it
As for vehicles, I’ll take whatever they decide
Morgan Aero 8 please
There is no public roadmap, other than Turn 10 saying they’re committed to resolving the game’s 3 main issues (Car Progression, AI and Penalties).
Everything else, speculate away.
The Live Service aspect of the game could see it receive a lot more content, none “easier” than previously available tracks, and we’re still missing a lot from FM7. But most Live Service games have a strong player base, eventually they may question the point of injecting further content into this.
Now “luckily”, this isn’t the first and only Microsoft Games Studio title in this very position.
Judging by PG’s support for Forza Horizon 5 after DLC offering was completed (Car Pass and expansion packs), I’d expect updates to become more interesting in terms of added cars in a few months, with more #NewToForza models and less recycled content. But I won’t put my money on it
Before I can even consider CarPass 1 or a possible CarPass 2…
There needs to be a “Racer’s Cup” with as much (or more) event content than the “Builder’s Cup”, centered on race cars.
Your idea has already been made a suggestion
The fact we need to vote on a suggestion to enable any race cars to be used in the career mode of a game with a huge number of race cars is truly bizarre.
Voted. Thanks.
Difficult to say, I’d expect Spotlight Cars every month and a track every 2 months… until Microsoft decides to pull the plug.
Everything they plan to add comes in too late to matter, I remember with FM7 it was similar disaster, the game got significant updates yet it wasn’t enough to justify the cost of supporting it for longer than 2 years.
This game should be free, due to the horrible and gray graphics.
The game was cut by more than 40% between tracks and cars.
They say it was made from scratch?! Look at the modeling of the cars, a decade has passed and they are using the library from the first Forza.
Tracks full of spotlights and balloons that don’t exist in reality. Sounds of creepy cars. Apart from that rear wing from 10 years ago that they insist on installing.
I wonder who paid $100 for this! It’s a slap in the face to the players.
1- tracks and layouts and game modes and features [like weather slots] from FM7 must return
2-radar & race flags are a MUST
3-more LMDH cars like porsche 963 & more GT3 cars like ferrari 296 GT3
4-rally & rallycross modes
