Fix the wipers!

Fix the wipers!
On most cars, the wipers do not work correctly, they do not clean the windshield to the end, and even worse, the wipers have different sizes, or very small, and they do not do their job. More car need these edits!

Agreed, it’s very inconsistent. I never get the feeling that the wipers are doing what they’re supposed to do: wipe water and droplets AWAY from the driver’s line of sight. It’s just not convincing.

With some cars I’ve noticed that there are no raindrops hitting the windscreen even though it’s raining cats and dogs on the track and the wipers automatically disappear when you go to the zoomed cockpit view.

Wipers have a horrible effect on in car view as they swipe over the windscreen creating bright spots on the road ahead.

Unfortunately that’s how they are in real life. And I’m willing to bet that they can’t change the design of the car because manufacturing’s restrictions. That’s part of why you don’t see much for upgrades on them. My biggest hang up of how bad the window glare can’t be. That messes me up so much worse

Bugs would be a neat tough! Only way to have it cleared is buy pitting or using th whispers! I think That’s be kinda cool haha

Yeah it’s tough. ACC has a small MFD that lets you access all functions so you don’t NEED to have mappable buttons. So that’s be nice. Unfortunately they need to try and keep it from getting too complicated. Features are nice, but too many functions are just something that could possibly bog the game down too much.

Yep. That’s my complaint basically. And it’s not realistic at all. I’ve never seen a car do that. I think it’s an artifact or the effects they’re using to show smudging of rain drops across the screen… Although it seems like the track is getting blotched over by a digital eraser or something.

FM 6’s rain effects look better than this. So does FH4 and 5.

THIS. I was going to share this suggestion, but then found your comment. Do we need to create a separate forum topic for this?

I think this happens in other games too but if you notice in FM8 there is a dissolve in reflections effect. Its very noticeable when a camera cuts and the reflections need to load in. Or when changing your outfit it will take a second for these effects to dissolve in. that makes this effect much worse. Its almost like you can see 8 bright ghosting images trailing behind the wipers.
It looks like the track has a disco light effect.

Again idk how this stuff gets past QA. Anyone who plays the game for more than a day will notice this stuff.
